A fabulous spot overlooking Swan River & the sand bar. Ample of parking. Park up with sandwich or coffee and enjoy the view. The houses nearby were uniquely designed & we were impressed by a few of their architecture.

It is a great spot to enjoy the scenery of the Swan River and the expanse of the famous Point Walter sand bar. It also provides a bit of history of the quarry that supplied the sandstone blocks that were used by the iconic buildings in Perth. A must-see spot when venturing around Perth.

Great little viewpoint with wonderful views over the less built-up parts of the city. It was really peaceful on my visit since there was no one else there but there’s a few car park spaces making it convenient. Even if you’re not in the immediate area it’s worth taking a detour to check out.
