We purchased all new blinds for our house through a local store stockist and was absolutely thrilled with the panel blinds for the glass doors and blockout blinds for the bedrooms. Unfortunately, the vertical blinds for the living room / dining room area are a huge disappointment. The wand mechanism interferes with the end vertical pane and stops the pane from closing fully and the wand 'sticks out' when the blinds are closed because once again it interferes with the last pane. I contacted the store we purchased these from and they advised a call out would be made for the manufacturer to come take a look and also did warned that they had been told before that is ‘how they are made’ after they had queries from other customers who experienced the same result. During the last week we had a Betta representative out to look at these and was told exactly that 'this is how they are made' and given a story about pane sizes etc., and any replacement would do exactly the same. Interestingly the blinds that were replaced by these blinds had a similar wand mechanism and sat closed and did not have the wand sticking out. I suggest caution on purchasing vertical blinds from this company as any concerns about the end product will fall on deaf ears, that was evident by the attitude of their representative who couldn’t give a toss.
