2nd time here. 15 taps to choose from, great selection. Tried 10 flavours.
Staff are great, husband & wife , both have great knowledge of their flavours, good options.
They are one of the better breweries in Sydney, only opened limited hours per week, by appointment.
Worth the effort for any genuine beer lover.

The best micro brewery in Sydney. Fantastic people, great atmosphere and best of all awesome beers. Can't get better quality beer anywhere. Small batches of beer so always changing. Up to 12 beers on tap. Tasting paddles are well worth the trip.

It is a rare gem, made to feel even more special due to the infrequent opening hours. I have only been there twice, but both times were an amazing experience. They brew on a very small scale, creating amazing craft beers - especially the ones in the higher ABV range.

Best beer in town, with a variety of 12 diverse beers on most days and different options on pretty much any visit. The place has a friendly and local atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff. Have a chat with Mike (the brewer), he's always keen to have a good beer talk. This tiny micro brewery definitely does not compromise for quality. I'd recommend the tasting paddles to try the range of beers on offer. It's a great place for a Saturday or Friday afternoon (closes 5pm). Just be aware that there are no food options (you can get some snacks, i.e. chips etc.), so better have some lunch elsewhere in Marrickville before you come here.

Fantastic!

I've been to a lot of little breweries (and some big ones!) and Black Font is hands-down the best. The beer is top quality, and you can really see how it's made with love and care. Worth every penny, it's what Batch, Young Henry's etc. wish they could be!

Without any hesitation I say Black Font has the best and most consistently enjoyable beer you will find anywhere in Australia. Pair that with the great atmosphere, where you can always have a friendly chat with the folks behind the product and you can see see why this place is giving other local Sydney breweries a run for their money.

Probably the best craft brewery in Sydney, Blackfont is inconspicuously tucked away down a small alleyway in Merrickville. The beer selection is on near constant rotation and the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more accommodating. Head brewer really knows his stuff and can be relied upon to brew almost any style of beer. The Berlinerweiss in particular is not to be missed. Superb!
