This is an annual event showcasing Wool production in the Boorowa area, an area steeped in Irish influence. There are demonstrations on shearing sheep and sheep dogs working sheep ( including an interesting summary of the history of kelpie breeding in Australia). Lots of food and market stalls along parts of Marsden and Pudman streets, which are closed to traffic for the weekend. All the local shops are open all weekend. Also Irish dancing display, Pipe bands and Celtic Music concert, small rides for little kids. We went on the Saturday and had a great time! Definitely family friendly day out. Interesting, educational and enjoyable. We'll be going again next year!
