The sand track to the beach is slow going but not very long at all. Nice big carpark and area for deflating tyres before and inflating after at track entrance.
Once you're on the beach there's plenty of room.

Always great fun, plenty of amenities.

So much room for fun, even if you are new to driving on the sand, make sure you have everything you need, and please be mindful that smaller vehicles often struggle and get stuck out here.

Set your tyres to 18 - 20psi, make sure you've got a 4x4 and don't get bogged. Keep your speed consistent. It's all good.

Great beach for learning how to drive on sand, and close to the City.
The access track itself is potentially the trickiest bit as it's all soft sand that has people constantly driving on it. Otherwise, not too hard. Our vehicle has normal clearance (ie not raised) and we did fine.
The beach currently has a lot of undulations, so, get ready for some bumps.
Speed requirement is 30km/hr.
Always have a back up plan in case you get stuck. Take a friend, or take your get out of sand plan.

This is as far as you can go without a beach driving permit, you need a 4x4 as well... It's a lovely spot to get onto the beach and then you can walk up or down to where you want to lay your towel. It was end of May we were there so water is a tad cooler... But still a nice quiet spot.

Excellent. have a go, but don't forget to let your tyres down to about 15 psi and take Max tracks and a snatch strap just in case. Most of all, watch out for kids on the beach and have fun

Great fishing for dart and whiting. Especially using worms. Caught a couple of small flatties as well.

We got bogged, so many cars were getting bogged today . The track needs to be maintained. Even big monster trucks were struggling to get through. If they charge money to get a permit, they should maintain the tracks.
