I'd joined the Oyster & Pearl Lover's tour. I love the experience of the whole journey. I've been to other pearl tours elsewhere but didn't get so much information on how the pearls are made how the pearls are rated. Besides, tasting the Akoya pearl oyster is such a unique experience & this oyster is not for sale anywhere. The taste is so good & will need to visit the farm again to taste it.😘

My wife and I participated in the oyster tasting and grazing lunch followed by an educational boat ride to learn about oyster growth. We were made to feel extremely welcome. We watched oysters being shucked , ate them , shared a delicious delicatessen plate and bottle of white wine, whilst looking at stunning views across the Hawkesbury. The boat ride was wonderful and informative. We will be back.

Really great interesting experience - 8 business owners and I did a 4 hour tour, learning and lunch with the owner to get an in depth insight into how it all works and what the ups and downs have been over the years. We pulled up an oyster, opened it and took a pearl home to a lucky loved one. Would definitely recommend for work or just for pleasure

Undertook the full package in 3 parts. Firstly , led by Guy, we had a boat tour of a few of the leases on the Hawkesbury River & Mullett Creek. We saw how the oysters are housed. Guy who had an authoritative knowedge of oyster farming. Then back on land in a pleasant airconditioned room, followed a lengthy talk on rating pearls visually including handling a wide variety of cultured pearls from Akoya oysters. Finally we watched an employee, Aaron shucking oysters & discussing oysters as seafood with a focus on sydney rock oysters. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable & provided an in depth exposure to oyster farming, pearl priduction & oysters as seafood. Highly recommended

A delightful and informative visit. Beautiful pearls on display and lots of information on how pearls are grown and harvested. Interesting historical information such as the rail bridge as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are a range of tours that can be booked which look worthwhile. Local oysters available for purchase - ours were fresh and tasty. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful Oyster farm tour with our experienced Cybel who was full of amazing knowledge and experienced boat guide. A late lunch was to follow with a grazing platter that exceeded our expectations. A lovely way to celebrate hubbies birthday. Amelia was so sweet and caring and her platter was sensational. I thoroughly recommend spending your day doing exactly what we did. Had a great day doing Farm to Plato we got to taste some beautiful oysters the Sydney Rock oyster was my favourite. He will learn heaps of Interesting facts about oysters. Now I know which ones to purchase And want to look out for.

Then we headed onto a boat to explore the river and see some oyster farms. This was so interesting and now I understand how much effort goes into oyster farming and why they can be a bit pricey.

The shop at the end showing the beautiful jewelry shells and other items you can purchase was so nicely set up. It was my friend’s birthday and I planned this for her and the staff were so generous. They let her take a shell for her birthday.

The staff here are so friendly and so knowledgeable and I asked a lot of questions which they answered.

It does help if the weather is good however the boat that you go out on is covered with a roof which was great as I was slightly sunburn.
