This is my pick of local bakeries in the area - everything has so much flavour and is beautifully made - the sausage rolls, pies, pastries and cakes. Their weekly and seasonal specials give me a great excuse to return. My ultimate indulgence is the seasonal Basque Truffle Cheesecake which happens to always fall around the time of my birthday.

Came here for the basque cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it! Not a huge fan of cheese but if I ate that in max 5 minutes, that’s definitely saying something. And the giant cinnamon scrolls that tasted like a warm hug were only $6! A lot cheaper than other cinnamon scroll places out there. But my favourite (not pictured) was the beef sausage roll. Oh my gosh. The pastry was crispy and layered and a wonderful brown and the MEAT - oh my gosh. The most juicy beef I’ve ever had. Only had one but I should’ve gotten three 😔. Will definitely come back!!

Came here after hearing such good things on the internet and the reviews here but it’s clear that some people are too lenient or haven’t actually tried a decent dessert.

As a sweet tooth myself I couldn’t help but be excited to try this place especially the chocolate peanut slice, boy was I disappointed. The cake itself was dry and when I say dry I mean dry as cake that has been sitting outside in the heat. The only savour of this cake was the peanuts which frankly speaking contribute a small portion of the cake itself.

As much as I love to support small businesses, I would not be visiting this shop again for cake.

Phenomenal pastry!

I walked in to pick up an array of desserts for a family birthday and walked away with $90 of beautiful little cakes that were throughly enjoyed. Every single one was phenomenally put together.

While waiting for my order to be packed up I sat by their window seating and enjoyed one of the best mushroom pies I’ve had in Perth. Honestly words cannot describe the buttery, flaky, creamy goodness this delight was.

Best strawberry sponge in Perth - my favourite! Lovely staff and always nice cakes and other baked goods. My go to for a special occasion cake - did I mention how good the strawberry cake is 🍰

Oh goodness, I love a good cake shop! I have been meaning to try their cakes for a while now. We had coffees, and lychee cake, Chocolate (I think it was peanut caramel) cake and also the summer tart covered in raspberries. They are all delicious.. I can't decide which one is the best but they were all yum.

Came here at 10am. Earlier than last time I was there. There were more cakes and savoury food on display. The newest pictures starting from pic 6 - 9.

Bought three different slices of cakes. The basque cheesecake (my fav still), strawberry shortcake - yum! my second fav and chocolate peanut roll. The strawberry shortcake is the most expensive - $9.20 per slice.

There is a card surcharge.

It's a small-ish cafe. Not many variety of food/ dessert on offer. Inside of the shop was hotter than outside. It's rather stifling. I am assuming it's more of a take away shop as there's hardly anyone and this was during lunch hr.

There was no menu on drinks. I had to ask what's available for drinks. Chose ice chocolate but it tasted rather runny. Probably too much milk not enough cocoa. For dessert, I picked basque cheesecake slice. I had been wanting to try their basque cheesecake. It didn't disappoint. It was yum. It was not overly sweet which is good because you don't get that bleugh feeling after eating such a rich dessert. Price was slightly high but I am willing to try their other dessert/pies next time around.
