As others have said, if I could give a 0 rating, I would. The change in ownership has resulted in not enough staff serving behind the counter and lack of training and organisation. I’ve been going to this chemist for years, it used to be appropriately staffed in peak periods, the trading hours serviced the working community better and they ran like a well oiled machine. When I went previously and had a 0/10 experience, I decided to give them a second chance. Done that and I’m taking my hard earned dollars elsewhere, where I can get a better customer experience and service. The owner needs to listen to the feedback, assess peak periods, train staff and resource appropriately, otherwise long standing customers will keep taking their business elsewhere.

I've been a loyal customer of this pharmacy for years, and I can't praise their service enough. The team is always attentive, professional, and genuinely cares about their customers. They make the process of getting prescriptions filled smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone!

I will never buy medicine from this pharmacy again. Before the change in ownership, their prices were only a dollar or two higher than chemist warehouse. so I would buy from them when I didn’t feel like going far. Two weeks ago, after the new owner took over, I bought the same medicine here, and it was $7 more expensive than other pharmacies, exactly the same medicine, $22! !!!!!!!! Other pharmacies are from $15-17! I will never buy anything from this place again.

Honestly would give this 0 if I could. I was told I could return medications that my sister had brought for me because it had lactose in it which I’m allergic to. I traveled to Chempro Calamvale only to be told “No” because they didn’t know how I stored it and I needed to return it immediately that day. Mind you I had ALREADY asked if I could bring it in that week on the phone with their team and they had said YES. The medications which were over the counter had not been opened and were still in their packaging. Why they lied to me and wasted my time is beyond me tbh. Worst customer service experience at a pharmacy by far. Just do yourself a favor and shop at Chemist Warehouse honestly.

18/11/2024 - I’m updating this review because Chempro Calamvale Pharmacy is BLATANTLY lying. Number #1 the medications that I had returned and wanted a refund for were not warm. To say that my medications were “warm” is a flat out lie. The medications were unopened and unsealed. So no I was not “jeopardizing” the community by asking for a refund for a medication I would have an allergy to.

Number 2# I had called your pharmacist and I asked them about getting a refund for the medications my sister had brought due to my lactose allergy. They had said it was completely fine and bring it in as long as it was unopened/sealed. To state that your pharmacist did not say this to me over the phone is yet again another LIE.

You speak of duty of care, how about the duty of care to a customer like myself who’s allergic to a medication and wanted to return them for a refund? Where is the duty of care you speak of?

Stop gaslighting your customers. How dare you? You treat your customers with disrespect and to add insult to injury Chempro Calamvale Pharmacy tries character assassinate anyone who speaks of their negative experiences. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves! Was making up all these lies necessary? Take some accountability like a professional company should. Customers reading this, PLEASE take this as a warning. Go elsewhere it’s not worth the headache.

I've been taking my vaccinations at Chempro Calamvale Marketplace for the past few years. Yin, the pharmacist, has a very gentle touch. I barely feel the needle going in before it's done. All the staff here, including the owner are very nice and helpful. Thanks for your service!
