Very disappointing experience. Most unpleasant customer service to deal with the problem, which they didn’t deal with. They offered to solve the problem, at EXTRA cost, when they did not fulfill the actual job requirement! I needed blackout, paid $3000 for curtains that didn’t blackout. I have to use a hair clip to bring curtains together. Light seeps through all around but especially the middle!

It started off promising as I had walked into the show room as I had driven by and saw the place. Whilst I hadn't made an appointment, the person I spoke to was accommodating and we decided she would come out to the house and check and measure. However, I had specifically stated they were kids bedrooms and needed blackout, no light seeping through. She did come out 2 days later.

The install was about 4 weeks.
Unfortunately the curtains were not what I had needed in terms of blackout. Over French doors, light escapes at the top and in the middle. I need to use hair clips to bring the curtains together!!

I asked for a review, but the person who sold me the curtains left, immediately after. The person I got sent out was the rudest most condescending person I had encountered in a long time, and I deal with plenty of people and had not come across a most unpleasant dismissive person.
It was the most shocking and bizarre encounter.
Then tried to speak to the manager via email. Gave all these solutions, butt at extra cost? I have to pay for their mistake? If a curtain place can’t even get the basic requirements of bedroom blackout right, then what can they do Let alone atrocious customer service. All words and no action.

Do yourself a favour and either go elsewhere, or do it online. I have done so in the past, and it has been fantastic. However, I was after someone to do the measuring for me. Cost much more and terrible outcome.

I don't want to give 1 star, let alone 5. This company bought out the company that made our roman blinds. At 2 years post installation, we have issues with 2 of the 4 that we paid $3400 for. Cardell are not intetested in the slightest in helping to repair, replace or refund our blinds. The consultant who came to our home was very pleasant but well schooled in the company line. Deal with them at your peril

As a first time customer, I had a very positive experience with Cardell. Alex from Cardell helped a lot with his service and expertise.
Living in the high rise building in the middle of Brisbane city, I can hear a lot noise from outside. I needed a noise and heat blocking curtains for the bedrooms.
When the curtains came, it has a few minor issues. Alex fixed the issues immediately and I have no problems with the curtains afterwards.
Most importantly, the bedrooms are much quieter and cooler. Well done Cardell, thank you.
