This motel is currently being used as accommodation for the homeless. |Restaurant is closed. Fortunately there is a pub next door where we ate dinner. |Had the feeling we were the only paying guests. |The room was large and clean, with one double bed and one single bed and a bedside table shared between the two beds. Therefore we had to use both beds so we could both use the bedside table. There was ample room for another one. |There was a microwave in the room but no dishes so was unusable. There was tea and coffee supplied with cups etc. However microwave had to be moved to allow access to the one power outlet to use kettle. |The beds were on castors on a vinyl floor (no brakes on castors) so they were constantly moving. This can be dangerous eg. bed moves away as person sits down, an accident waiting to happen! Had to ask for something to stop castors moving and a couple of extra towels were provided for us to put under the castors with limited success! |Adequate bathroom but not enough room to put own toiletries. |Had booked and paid for 2 nights but left after one night. |Reception staff not overly helpful and not available the next day when we left.

The location was good & easy to find. Parking was cramped & no cover. The room was a good size but outdated & broken toilet buttons & cracked seat along with a towel rack which was just ' hanging ' on the wall. A/C., light's , bed etc. were all good.

Honestly can not thank this motel enough I made a booking with another motel in the local area and it was for the wrong night so we had no where to go myself partner and our 5 month old baby I rang around and this motel was more then happy to help us they went above and beyond for us to make sure we had some where too stay the rooms are big and clean and beds are comfortable will definitely be back if ever staying in area again thanks again guys highly recommend!

Pretty average for what your paying.
Service was average for a motor inn.
Biggest issue are the car parks. Clearly not set out for average to larger cars as they had 2 parked in such a way a whole park couldn't be accessed. The bed is on rollers and I couldn't find a way to lock them Stationary in position, so everytime I move or rolled over the bed did too. And don't even try to sit up in bed watching TV lol
However, I booked easily over the phone directly with them and was happy with the price.
The air con kept the room warm. It's located just outside of town but still in a decent position

Not overly happy. The room was clean and had the basics. The bed was comfortable but that's about all i can say. The kettle was stained brown on the inside and the air conditioning played up whenever we tried to adjust the temperature. The website states that there is a restaurant and room service but there is a sign on the restaurant door saying permanently closed, so the website hasn't been updated. The man at the counter was nice but when i arrived to check in, i was ignored while he finished chatting to one of the other guests about their day. All in all, i would go somewhere else next time.

My 13 year old and I stayed here in a twin bedded room last night on our drive south. It was easy to book and the manager was friendly and welcoming despite the fact we arrived outside of reception hours. The room had standard motel fittings but was larger than many I’ve stayed in. The beds were very comfortable - 1 single and 1 queen. The pillows were good. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise with a large shower and good water pressure. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time and was a reasonable price and tasty. We ordered pancakes x 1 and bacon and eggs x 1. Both came with toast. Neither of us could finish them. There was some road noise but nothing that disturbed our sleep. We didn’t hear any noise from other guests. It’s in a handy location and we would definitely stay again.

This motel is quite old fashioned with very nice old fashioned service. Our room had a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was a reasonable size with a very good shower. There is also a nice pool and when we arrived there was lots of children enjoying it. We had to park out on the road as there was no car spots left.
