Beautiful atmosphere inside restaurant and amazing grounds to explore including gazebo pictured and enormous American fern tree.

Toilets are good and venue is accessible. In the hallway walk to bathroom bookshelf’s full with books and games perfect for families enjoy dinner without iPads!

Expect to pay around $45-50 for your main meal it’s expensive however running business in small towns high quality food is expensive.

I would recommend this dining venue for couples and families, wedding etc

Amazing looking property with a lake. Unfortunately we had booked another place for accommodation so we just had dinner at Chefingos. The duck and German platter were amazing, huge portions and delicious! Hospitality was great. Would definitely return if ever in the area again.

Drove 25 KM just to try the food as the reviews looked so good; It did not disappoint! I had the trout trio, which was super fresh and my partner had the mushroom medley, which was pumped with flavor. I normally am not a fan of gnocchi, but this one was outstanding! To complement the main course, we had the restaurant’s ‘red wine tasting’ and the local red wines in particular the ‘Pinot Noirs’ were fantastic! We finished our hearty meal with the chocolate lava cake, which was so moist and juicy; one of the best I’ve had! Overall, could tell really good ingredients were being used, executed to perfection and at very reasonable prices. Hard to come by and we’re so happy we came by!

Staff was super friendly and made us feel at home away from home. After dinner, we had a very interesting and engaging conversation with whom we realized towards the end was the man himself - Chef Ingo! We left with not just a full stomach, but a full heart too!

We truly appreciate the good talks and hospitality, which led to us booking a night at the lodge for our way back to Perth a few days later, because the overall experience was so great!

Thank you so much for having us twice in 3 days! Definitely an experience we’re very fond of and will continue to speak highly of for a long time! Next time we’re back in Pemberton, we’re definitely returning here again!

Amazing food! If you've never tried Duck before, this is the place to try it. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, had the Barramundi and Duck and it was delicious! The German inspired cuisine is a great change and rare to find. Love the venue. The views in the evening are beautiful. Staff are super friendly and professional.

Delicious meals and generous size servings. Very friendly service and beautiful setting looking over established garden in a peaceful location. Ordered yellow Thai curry, four mushroom gnocchi and the lumberjack dinner and got a thumbs up from everyone. You’re in good hands booking here for dinner

Had a fantastic meal here Thursday night. The surf and turf featuring venue caught Marron and steak was so big I needed my partner to help finish it. It was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic.

A must do experience when visiting or passing through Pemberton. Very professional, very well organised, clean and tidy. The menu is derived from local flavours and produce and delicious. The marron and trout soup as a starter was the best soup I have tasted.
Will certainly be returning.
