We needed our grinder serviced, Det came and inspected our grinder to tell us it needed a lot of work. He leant us a replacement one right away whilst he took the one to service home.
Det went out of his way to adjust the borrowed grinder and made sure it operated efficiently for us . He also took the time to work through the details with us.
The next day after he called into our cafe, he sent us a courteous message to see if everything went alright ...

We could not be happier with Det's service and his willingness to share his knowledge of all coffee things !

I should have written this months ago... I purchased a Mini Mazzer from Coffee Tech as they are local and round the corner from my work. I was advised of the lead time and although they didn't have to, I was provided a loan grinder until my unit arrived. The price was even more competitive than the usual online sellers. Highly recommend these guys.

Make sure you ask if they give warranty or not. Coffeetech technician fixed my coffee machine all up almost $500 for 1 hour work. 2weeks later the same problem occurred and when I call again , they said they did not give warranty because my machine is quite old (9years old). If I want them to come again, I have to pay even for the same problem. I wish they explained this warranty condition over the phone before they came, so I can consider and choose other technician who can over warranty. Almost $500 just go to the drain basically because I have to bring to other technician later on to get proper fixed.

I will not use this business again. The techs that do the work seem ok, but the business transaction with me was not to any standard - even the poorest. They insist on a CCard 'in case you don't come back'. They exceeded the amount they said they would call to approve. They did not call me to discuss the problem, or other issues I requested specifically. They would not give an estimate of repair or time to fix- 'I can't say when we will get to it'. When picking up they insist on a CCard surcharge which was mentioned no where, verbal or otherwise. When getting it all home I'm missing the plastic cap on the water tank and the plastic cover on the thermostat adjuster - both not critical to the operation, but very bad form. They have declined to return them to me. I will not be back.
