Today, I had a distressing experience at Coles Noranda. I was shopping with three full-cream milk bottles from the Farmerhouse brand in my trolley, each priced at $2.79. When I saw a staff member marking down products near the fridge, I temporarily removed the milk from my trolley and put it back on the shelf, hoping it would be discounted. I then went to get some bread and returned to check if the milk had been marked down. I politely asked the staff member if she would give will mark down on the milk, but she responded with a disapproving expression and said no, implying that I wasn't eligible because I had previously had the milk in my trolley. This uncomfortable exchange happened in front of other customers who were waiting for some products to be marked down, making me feel embarrassed and humiliated. I was taken aback by her negative reaction, which was clear from her facial expression. As a result, I told her I no longer wanted the milk and returned it to the shelf. I then went to the checkout point and reported the incident to another staff member, expressing my disappointment and frustration with the way I was treated. Due to my distress, I also returned the bread and chocolate milk I had selected and left the store. It's frustrating that I have to rely on markdowns because of my budget constraints, and it's even more disheartening to be treated with disrespect by a staff member. If I could afford to pay full price, I wouldn't have to deal with this kind of situation. Unfortunately, the staff member's behavior and attitude have left a lasting, negative impression on me, making me feel unwelcome and unvalued as a customer.

I am a customer and shareholder of this company.
My experience today was below average.
It was very obvious a small group of male teenagers were stealing from the store.
I told staff and they were not interested in dealing with the situation.
CCTV is all over the store.
No security guards on exit as this could have been dealt with so easily.
I’m concerned of the complacency of the situation given the circumstances of enough time to call security or police.
No wonder crime is escalating when it is not dealt with properly.
Coles, you really need to train your staff how to deal with this situation in a more efficient manner.
I don’t mean that staff should approach them but, employ security on exits.
This is costing the shopping customers money and also the company.
Would love to see how you respond and actually act on this situation going forward.

Even after copping abuse from an old lady about tomatos. Jasmine was still able to give us exceptional service. Even in a fluster she was able to do her job effectively.

I came buy the food and gift card, it show me 15% off for this choice gift card, but after I checked out, when I check the receipt it was the full price, I was shocked，cause I can’t see the products details when I check out, I don’t know where is the far away screen because she didn’t tell me, at mean time I have to buy other thing separately, so I need to stay with the stuff, I came back to ask the stuff, she said it’s different card, and she don’t have to tell me about this, when I go back to check the choice card on the shelf , they are same, both no discount, and they look totally same! The photo on the top, there is a post blocking the amount of the choice card!
I feel cheated here, inducing customers to spend money, I’ll never come back here again!

Even Armadale Coles puts this place to shame, went in an bought a pouch of tabbaco an got short changed 15 dollars coz the lady reckons she didn't have enough change in the till, instead of cancelling the transaction she just took my money, if you employ useless untrained staff you going to get bad reviews unfortunately.
