Blandly scrolling images under “blue cycling tops” (my favourite colour) to find some riding threads to make my return to the tarmac on two wheels a spot less implausible, I was struck - captivated - by one radiant portrait of a statuesque blonde beauty in full cycling regalia and a beaming bright light blue jersey. Voila, CONNAL KIT! Oh, happy day! A revelation.
Opening the site, I was delighted to find their most appealing range of versatile and smartly-styled, very wearable cycling garments in attractive colours, modelled by real cyclists: smiling friends and family of the gracious proprietors - and a West Australian company based in Dunsborough and proud of their heritage and home, to boot. The thoughtful complimentary handkerchief and wash bag add a nice personal touch.
What lovely people to deal with. I bought a Go Explore cycling polo top and shorts, with the Prelude cycling undernicks and some Meelup and Castle Bay socks. I ride daily. All is functional and comfortable on the bike. The polo has a secure rear zip pocket and a collar that can be folded up to protect the neck on sunny rides, while the shorts have four useful zipped pockets. These clothes make one look and feel good. Colourful comfy socks too.
(I’m not as fat as I thought and had to swap my shorts for a smaller size. No problem. Jen Connal Clark kindly obliged in next to no time. Thank you, Jen.)

All products are well-designed and made from quality materials. I have purchased the Go Explore cycling polo shirt and touring shirt....oh, and a few pairs of the colourful socks. The touring shirt is ideal for cycling (and walking) in warm to cool conditions. It doesn't look like a cycling top and is perfect for the times you might want to park your bike and wander about without giving yourself away as a cyclist! The polo shirt, with its merino wool blend, is perfect any time, especially when temperatures start dropping. The socks are light weight, soft and comfortable. Connal Kit is a highly recommended source of cycling clothes.

We find the Connalkit cycle clothing highly versatile. We have used the base layer vest in early morning bike rides (perfect for cool morning rides), but also as an extra layer bush walking and ... even under a cricket shirt during a particularly wet and cool game! ( Colin)
The polo shirt is great for day walks too, as well as for casual cycling outings. Looks smart, feels comfortable, and breathes well.

High quality gear. I used the Prelude Under Knicks for a 1000 km bike packing trip and they where comfortable, light, not sweaty and protected me where other people riding with me developed saddle sores in nasty places. The Prelude Base Layer Top is also excellent - very warm, light and dry. The cycling tops are plain-coloured so they allow you to have the high technology of bicycling gear but to blend in when not riding. Which is great when you stop at a tiny country pub for lunch and no one else is in colourful lycra!

Connal Kit cycling jerseys are so comforable and are made to last. I own 3 jerseys that I wear often and they still look like new 4 years later. The socks are great, too.
