Being an ex student from donkey's ago, this school was one of my favourite schools to attend! I loved the rural setting and the fact it was situated at the base of the Watagan Forrest. You'd always hear the Bell Birds singing away when you were out in the playground for recess and lunch! Back then, I had fantastic teachers! Although I only went here for one year (Yr 6), it was a great time! My teacher, Mrs Jones, taught a class that consisted of both Year 5 and also Year 6. Because it was just her, at times she'd have trouble teaching both years. So she'd get me to help the Year 5 kids if they needed help! I didn't mind though! If I remember right, Mr Lynch was the Headmaster then (1986) and was a brilliant Headmaster....well liked by all! But yeah, this school is an amazing school and I am glad I went here!

Only rating one star as you can’t put zero. The teaching staff are unprofessional, incompetent and devoid of any concept what so ever around emotional/mental care, understanding or empathy for children’s needs. Disgraceful communication and organisation. Complaint lodged with Education NSW Adamstown. I highly recommend any one avoid this school and look to the Heritage Cottage if you care for your child’s education and certainly well being.

Get mr briggs and mr Lincoln back absolutely the best teachers and the best school and I want to go back my parents moved me but I want to go backs it’s the best school in the world

Friendly school, children are happy to be there which is a testament to the care and education they are receiving. The students have great academic results as well as develop important social skills. Thanks Cooranbong School for looking after my child so well.
