What a cute place with so much character. We were there for a staff changeover and both the bartenders were great! I had a couple of gins and my partner tried some of their beers. All fantastic! Also love the idea of letting patrons draw on coasters and put them up on the wall - there are some real works of art on the wall. Definitely recommend if you like gin and local beers. Easy to find - if you know where Mexicairns is - you can walk in that way - it is out past the toilets and turn left in the alley.

Called in here twice when I was in Cairns. It's easy to find, well signposted in the CBD.

The place is small, and it may fit 10 people comfortably.

On my first visit, the service from the bar tender lady (English accent maybe) was excellent. She was really friendly and welcoming.

On my second visit, the service was good.

The beers are really tasty, and I grabbed some takeaways. Perfect for a hot day, haha.

This is one of those hidden gems found by chance in an alley that I wasn't supposed to walk by... There is a must try which is a dark beer sitting in a rum barrel for a couple of months which was delicious.
Great atmosphere, great music and the friendliest staff which happened to be one of the owners.
I look forward to come back to this place.

Hidden gem with the best beer in Cairns! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff who answered all our (many) questions. We had the tequila and beer tastings and got a tour of the taproom behind the scenes. Overall a must-stop if you’re in the area!

What a interesting brewer!! I had a lovely time at this small brewery. You can learn beer manufacturing process here. Anyway, learn something and drink original beer, too. This is one of hidden places in Cairns. I found by chance in an alley.

A local friend recommended this little bar and brewery. I tried the Tropic Ale and was not disappointed. My husband had the lager and I had a couple of sips of that, and could have happily had more. There's a good vibe here, and a friendly dog too (always worth extra points). Will definitely visit again!
