Horrible experience over the space of 2 weeks. Initial 30min hold time to confirm availability of part #4016166. Was then asked to print, fill out and manually complete a form that included my credit card number (including CCV) and return it via email. This completely violates Requirement 4.2 of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which states "credit card information should not be captured, transmitted, or stored via end-user messaging technologies such as email".

Against my better judgement, I completed the form and emailed it July 10th asking for a quick turnaround. No response.

Emailed again July 12th asking to please confirm receipt of the form. No response.

Finally emailed July 15th requesting (in bold, red letters at top of email) to cancel the order. Again no response.

Today 19th July my card was debited $92.54 (an amount that was never approved by me). I called immediately. 35min wait time to speak to a representative. Then another 20mins to get a mediocre outcome which did not involve an apology or an immediate refund.

Between phonecalls, emails and filling out forms, I'm down 2 hours, $92.54, and bunch of wasted energy.

How businesses like this survive in 2022 baffles me.

Absolutely shocking service. Was on hold for 40 minutes just to get a lady called Mira say that she had to email me a form to fill in order to log my issue. I wanted to give her the serial number for my air conditioner but she didn't want it. My air-conditioner that we paid $2500 for 3yrs ago, isn't working with the cooling option, the same thing happened this time last year. Now it is not working again. I paid more for this air conditioner as I heard daikin air conditioners had a good name and were reliable. I have 2 small babies and am heavily pregnant also. I would like someone to respond to me please as I cant seem to get through to anyone to speak to about my air conditioner. Mira the lady I spoke to said the only option was to email me a form and it can take up to a week for someone to respond to it and the up to 2 week for a technician to come out to look at my air-conditioner. It really isn't good enough and is not fair on customers to purchase an expensive air-conditioner with such terrible service and that this is the 2nd time it has broken. Could someone from daikin please respond to this review. Thank you.
