Wow what an experience we visited the De Bortoli winery on a whim. We rang first and the lady (Leonie) told us where we could park with our caravan and also it was dog friendly. My goodness this place hire the best staff. We felt so welcomed and our dog was also allowed to sit inside with us. We had the cheese platter and one if us did the wine tasting. The information and history was a great insight. We cannot recommend this place more highly and feel they may have spoilt us to visit anywhere else. We will return. Thank you Leonie and all the lovely staff we dealt with.

This place is a must visit especially if one is interested in different sorts of wines. The wines produced are a result of the family business out of their own wineyards. On our last visit, there was a wine tasting event organised with music and other catering options. Non-drinkers could enjoy the cheese platter option. There are swings for kids in the park area; parking is on the soft ground but there is ample space in front of the wine yard.

An excellent cellar door experience. Cheese and salami platter with wine tasting plus the Noble One taster. A really nice afternoon. Ended up buying quite a lot as it was all so good.

Went to this cellar door today as my mother and I spent the weekend in Hay. As soon as I walked in I received a look from one of the ladies like I shouldn't be there. Started looking at the shelves and she completely ignored me until the other lady with the black shirt approached me she was lovely engaged in a bit of small talk and spoke to me about a few of the wines didn't offer me any samples though which was a shame but I did score a cool beach mat. After I had walked out my mother went in and received the same look and coldness from the older blonde lady but received lovely service from the lady in the black shirt but wasn't offered any samples either. The experience overall was okay would have been willing to spend more if the energy had been a lot more friendly and welcoming considering they were quite dead. But they got about $80 out of us and we got some nice wines to take home.

My first wine tasting and it was lovely, very helpful and had a various wines to choose from to taste. Although a couple I had wanted to try from weren’t available as a sample. Very nice entry and car park, with well shaded areas a must in the heat of 40+degrees.

What a lovely place for lunch! The cheese plate was perfect & complemented all the wines we tasted. Carlah was excellent at helping us with our selections with her knowledge of all the wines. Would definitely recommend coming here. Even our dogs were welcomed
