Designer Dirt has an amazing array of unique home and garden ware and gets my vote for always having beautiful and thoughtful products as well as supporting local artists works. The one of a kind oar art piece we purchased recently tells the story of the now nonexistent Norwegian whaling outpost in the 1900’s. Made by a very talented local artist that we are proud to support, through Designer Dirt showcasing hers and other locals pieces. Best place to go to in Albany!

What a nice hidden gem! It's a Sunday not much open in Albany but found this wonderful little, jam packed shop - Designer Dirt. Plenty to look at and prices are reasonable. Did a couple of laps to make sure we didn't miss anything then checked out everything outside as well. The wind spinners were mesmerising. Well worth checking it out and its not just garden items. They do take card or cash as well.

Designer Dirt made a gate sign for a rural property for me. I was a bit vague about what I wanted and didn't give them much notice for when I wanted it.
The design was absolutely perfect and ready to be picked so quickly,.
