Did an extension on my brand new LC79 preregistration along with some other works to the amount of $20 000. This photo is after 4000km. The part they worked on is covered in rust. I took it elsewhere to get fixed and asked them to cover the invoice of $1200. They came back to me with an offer to only pay 80% of the invoice. At the end they ended up paying NOTHING and I never heard from them again. If you want your money’s worth, you probably don’t want to go to DMW.

These guys were the best! Helpful hassle free, big mention for Rick, Ben and Glen, Nothing was too much bother , they went out of their way to finish in a shorter time than expected, being from SA it was awesome to get a federally approved upgrade to our GVM, as this is not available in SA. Top work guys, smooth ride, and peace of mind we are legally covered for weight!!
Cheers all round and have DIRTY MUDDY WEEKEND!!

Awesome service from the whole team at DMW. Customer satisfaction is a very high priority for the front of house team and the mechanics, fitters and welders strive to exceed customer expectation. We wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to DMW for work on their rig.

Just want to say what a great professional product and service these guys provide. They upgraded my next gen Ranger to 4250GVM. I can safely say that it is awesome, particularly after installation I went to cape York through some pretty rugged roads fully loaded. The suspension setup was magnificent and gave me great confidence. After now doing 15K it has proved fantastic, they know there stuff!!

I was sceptical that the product and upgrade wasn't going to live up to the hype....however the first time loading up and hooking the family caravan on the product surpassed my expectations.... as marketed the Dobinsons MRR suspension was above expectation... I replaced another reputable brands top of the line product which was obviously at its limit....the dobinsons exceeded my expectations and with the 4499kg GVM packing was alot less stressful!!! The boys done a great job fitting the upgrades and my stress levels are alot better , with braking upgrades, chassis strengthening and being within legal weight limits !!!

Thanks again you'll see me on the road somewhere !!!

Warning; long detailed but honest review..
Recommend reading if you’re considering spending big bucks here and you expect quality service for your money.
50% upfront payment BEFORE taking your booking is unusual. Make sure you get everything in writing before paying.
Inquiry sales is friendly but customer service steadily declines to nothing after they have your $. Spend $$$$ and don't they don't even wash your car at the end or throw in a free ticket into their promo competitions.
Mechanical work was nothing to write home about.
Wheel nuts EXCESSIVELY OVER TORQUED. I went to install some locking nuts for my near new wheels but had to dig out my big breaker bar and pole to undo. Luckily I came across this at home instead of on a bush track with the factory tyre brace #NOHOPE. Invest in a torque wrench. No doubt full warranty denial if the next mechanic were to use a rattle gun and snaps my wheel studs.
Mismatched locking nuts on the shock strut tops with no washers fitted. These are one time use fasteners. It’s a brand new car ffs.
Went to adjust my new shocks but could not figure out how. Turns out they were missing the adjustment caps. I’d been driving around with open holes on the top of my shocks with dirt and water getting in. I had to google photos to figure out how to adjust and if any parts were missing.
Of course all I got given at handover were my car keys and the WRONG GVM sticker in the door jamb. NO manuals or paperwork, NO adjusting tools, not even a promo sticker that usually comes with aftermarket parts.
I call salesman ‘R’ about the missing parts, he has absolutely no clue. I also ask him to email the manual for my airbags, he emails the wrong one. I call the manufacturer directly as Im confused and they send out the correct info. If I had followed ‘R’s emailed info, I probably would have blown my airbags as the listed pressure was double what mine are. Warranty denied for sure.
So, After 5weeks I finally receive the missing suspension parts after they initially sent out the wrong stuff (first received adjusting tools that I was supposed to get at handover anyway!)
It took multiple calls each week to ‘R’ to ask where the hell my parts were. He rarely returns my calls. Always some BS excuse about the office has to process the freight etc. I email him photos from google of the bits that aren’t on my car. I send them multiple times as he ‘never gets them’ (even then he sends the wrong stuff). I had to talk to the workshop manager in the end to finally get it sorted.
Salesman ‘R’ either does not give a dingoes left peanut, has no clue, is an expert in BSing customers or management here does not value customer satisfaction. I think all apply.
Kicker and final straw that compelled me to write this review is when I made the mistake of ordering some unrelated parts that another workshop planned to install.
‘R’ was prompt and attentive to organise these parts and get them sent out to me. OK. Maybe he is redeeming himself after the absolute dog turd service.
‘R’ promptly quotes and verbally assures me that it is the specific brand part I requested. Emails the upfront payment invoice, this one is fair, I pay straight away, I reply asking to confirm part specifics as its not noted on the invoice. He does not reply. I then send an SMS also asking to confirm part specifics, no reply. Surely they wont send me the wrong part…
Sucked in again, received parts fairly quickly this time and surprise surprise it’s not the brand discussed. Sure it fits but thats not the point. I was ticked off to say the least.
Call ‘R’, first denial and then apologises when he can’t BS out of it. I ask for compensation for being dogged as I can’t send this part back and have been waiting 2 weeks for workshop availability.
Says he will make the situation right by me but needs to bring it up with management.
I’m still waiting for his return call and action LOL!!!
This company clearly doesn't hold customer service high on their agenda. Less social media shenanigans and better management and training of staff is needed.
