I just completed my second course with Dunstone Design, the Production Masterclass. Evan, Alex and Will were all fantastic teachers throughout the week, sharing tips and tricks at every stage from design, material selection, processing, machine joinery, assembly through to finishing.

The course was thoughtfully paced, catering for beginner through to advanced skill levels. The guys delivered explicit training on the safe use of each machine, often with advanced techniques. Alex dived deeper into the workings of each machine as we stepped through the operations.

The Dunstone Design on site showroom is a fine furniture gallery all by itself, jam packed with amazing works by the team. If you are considering a course or a commission, do yourself a favour and pop by to see it for yourself.

I absolutely love my stools and I will be back to learn more as often as I can.

I completed the Dunstone Design 2023 Summer Hand Tools Masterclass. I had a great time and the friendships made are ongoing. Evan showed great patience and his ever present support during what proved to be a bit of a wild ride was great. I am awed at Evan’s hand and machine skills and his problem solving skills were something to behold.

With Allex walking about and happy to help when asked (thanks Alex) it all finally worked. My wife was very happy with her table now installed and in its resting place.

All those on the training learned lots and we all had a great time. Upgrading and learning hand woodworking skills in the presence of a master was worth the cost and time spent.

Thanks for the course and and the skills and experience it gave me, I recommend the course to anyone looking to get better at woodworking.

Quality design, workmanship, and service.

This is Fine Furniture by a mastercraftsman and will look amazing in your home. It's not cheap, but it is definitely worth the price tag.

Evan and his apprentice William designed and produced a finely crafted functional bespoke jarrah cupboard for our living area which blends seamlessly with our jarrah dining table. Evan was a pleasure to deal with, being both practical and creative. If you want quality bespoke furniture by a master craftsman Dunstone Design is the "go to" place.

Evan and the team at Dunstone Design are simply the best fine furniture craftsmen in the country (if not the world). No other team produces a volume of fine furniture with the level of quality to rival that of DD. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Commissioning fine furniture as a private or corporate client is an exciting process and to do so with a passionate team of craftsmen on the tools is even better.
