I felt the need to write this review regarding the Staff at Early Settlers Cairns, which have to be some of the nicest Customers Service Representatives that I have ever had the good fortune to encounter. They are genuinely lovely people. They are friendly, knowledgeable on their products, and very helpful. They make you feel welcome every time I enter the store, which I really appreciate.

When we placed our multiple orders we were treated very lovely but over time have come to discover they lied to us about lead times. I also heard them on the phone lying to another customer when I was in yesterday- the lead time ended up being double what they originally said & our “in stock” online order got blown out to 3 months!! We went in yesterday to finally get the first part of our order and we were treated so incredibly rudely. The lady was actually so horrible and the whole experience makes me want to cancel all my outstanding orders and go elsewhere! I would no longer recommend this company.

We purchased a dining suite at Earlysettler Cairns. The sales lady, Yazz, was absolutely awesome. From the moment that I walked into the store, it was a very nice experience.

I rarely leave reviews but I’m extremely unhappy with the way I was treated at this store. I went in to collect my order, I entered the store and decided to browse for a bit. A lady at checkout yelled “do you need help with anything?” I said I am picking up an order and this is the first time I’ve come to this store so I’m just browsing to see what you’ve got. She said okay if you give me the details I’ll have your order ready while you shop around. I walk to the counter and she asks if I even know what I’ve ordered. Very condescending. I said yes I do, I’ve got the email. (Not everyone is incompetent like you.) I gave her the order number and she told me that I’ve already picked up part of the order. Another lady came over and said I’ve picked up part of my order so I told her that this is the 1st time I’ve come to this store. They then decide to give me my order. Not only they’re rude, you as a customer have to do their job for them as well. I was told to put my phone aside to help pick up a small 500gm item out of a pile of other things, then also had to help wrap it up. Here’s a tip, sack the slackers, hire some competent people that won’t make a customer look like a moron in front of other customers. Ask me if I picked it up, DON’T TELL ME that I did when I didn’t. I was polite the entire time. I just sometimes wonder, is it the upbringing? I’m surprised to see how many Karens are actually on the other side of the counter.
