Great local brewery. They used to be at Mount Kuring-Gai but their beer was so good they had to move to a bigger premises at Hornsby. Lots of Ekim beers on tap as well as snacks and a great view of the brewery in action from the top floor.

Awesome beers, lovely hidden location with a nice bush lookout from the window, and great food selection from the truck outside. Friendly service and great insights into the beer manufacturing process on site. In short, everything one could ask for from a neighborhood brewery!

The recipient of the only 5* beer rating I’ve ever given on UnTappd in over 120 reviews for their peerless Nitro Lamington Porter. A scrumptious buttery sponge cake coated in chocolatey sauce and rolled in desiccated coconut to complete the iconic Aussie dessert.

Visited again recently, for a cheeky little tasting sesh on a Friday arvo, and it simply cannot be beat. Drop some 285ml tasters into ya, and solve all the world’s problems with your mates. Sadly, I was 1-week too early to try their Rocky Road Nitro, but if it is anything like the liquid lamington it’s a must-try!

Looking forward to returning here on my next sojourn back to Sydney.

Ekim beers are brilliant. I've had the pleasure of drinking at over 150 craft breweries in San Diego, as well as visiting craft brewing hot spots in Lis Angeles, San Francisco, Sonoma, Michigan... They have the beer style perfected, better than most in SD, the have atmosphere, that makes you part of the family. Thank you gentlemen. I hope to see you again soon.

Cool little brewery tucked away. Good craft beers at reasonable prices. Nice to visit on a Friday evening.
