Uluru, Eat Your Heart Out. If you want to do a real rock climbing experience without the restrictions, FREE of charge, then come on down to Elachbutting Rock Nature Reserve in Western Australia. The rock formations are a natural treasure for visitors far and wide to experience nature as far away from Perth as you can get and a wonderful holiday for people of all ages. Just remember to wear a fly net over your head when the weather gets extremely hot during the high season. Best time to visit would be mid-year (Winter time from June to August); the flies will be in hibernation then.

Loved it. You don't need to go to Wave Rock. The camp grounds are great, very spacious & a flushing loo too.

Beautiful Rock. Flushing toilets. A couple of small Wave Rock like features around this Rock to look at, and a tunnel, where the Rock has cracked and slid away from itself...

Really enjoyed this place. Lots of areas for all kinds of camping. Has toilets. Great walks to see what's above the rock or around the rock.
Wave rock was amazing plus other great places. 👍
No cost to enter. Just a few vehicles were here when we were.
Look after this place and keep it clean. 😊

Total amazing site. She is a grand granite rock with “wave” formations that vary in colour. Steep climb up and well worth the effort. A 5km drive around. Camp grounds have toilets and plenty of space. 4WD track takes you close to the top.

Nice place to camp. Very clean lots of wood lots of space for caravans and the ground not to hard for tent pegs. Good access on gravel roads and beautiful views. Some good rock formations here and plenty of places to explore.

We really enjoyed it. We got a campsite with a fire pit and table

Flushing toilets as well. There were quite a few people there but we were all spread out. The walks around and over the rock were great too.

However you could head a further 12kma to berringbooding rock if you want to get away from the crowds. We went there next and we're the only ones there.

Well worth the visit though.

You have to drive a long way, but it is every penny worth! It is a short walk from the parking and then you are blown away just by the way nature can create forms and colors. Don't miss to go through the cave. As soon as you are in you will see the light of the end of the tunnel! Wonderful. You can drive around the rock. Easy. You will find a Picnic place. Nice but nothing special.
