This river crossing doesn’t seem to have access for kayaks or at all. There is a sports park near the bridge that has some trails that appear to reach the river but not easily accessible. Still an interesting place.

@ sept 23. Much improved. They now have Trafgic control amd it's open !! @2022 Very poor that there are no signs on the approach that the through route is closed

Great place for pictures at the pumping station Brisbane side of the river. Also the BEST way to get from Brisbane to Ipswich during flooding at College's Crossing. Not bad fishing 300-400 m downstream. The bridge over is only one way but kept in food repair.
