After looking into pools with several suppliers we decided to go with Factory Pools Perth and this turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We met initially with Miranda in the Joondalup display and immediately we knew we were in the right place. She was extremely helpful and thorough in her approach and let us know of all the options upfront. We were building a new home on a very skinny block so completing the pool after the build would have been very difficult and expensive. Factory pools worked with me and my timeframes to ensure this was installed prior to the build commencing. 15 months later once the home was complete the pipework and equipment was installed. They were professional the whole way through including all the internal staff and accounts people. Handover was completed and they squeezed me in just before Christmas which was amazing. Couldn't rate high enough and great experience.

We had a Cottesloe 6 (6x4m) pool installed and handover just before Christmas.
The process was great starting with Dave in Mandurah, supervisor Todd and handover with Gary.
Overall, we are happy with the whole experience with Factory Pools Perth. Now it's time for some landscaping!

We have just finished getting a pool installed by Factory Pools, bought at O'Connor and have been happy with the whole process. The team all did what they said they would do, turned up on time, cleaned up. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting a pool

Our Factory pool journey is done and we couldn't be happier. From the initial sales inquiry with Miranda at the Joondalup office to picking the colours and then install with supervisor James and installer on day of pool and then filter , Torin , i cant praise the factory pools team enough. There where some delays but always informed via email early on. Thanks for our new pool, kids are going to be swimming all summer!

The install of my Hampton grande was very efficient. The trades were precise and on time.
I got a decent deal on my pool after some negotiation on price.
The only let down was the subcontracted supplier (Hayward) of pool spares who only supplied 1 pool filter not 2 and the installers were not notified there was 2 so only when I told them there was one missing was the second one installed. Hayward also supplied the wrong length hose so I couldn’t initially vacuum/clean out the pool.
My advice: Keep an eye on the install to ensure it meets what you ordered

Avoid - Poor Communication, Misleading Marketing, and Faulty Installation.

Installation Issues: The pipework installation is shoddy and demonstrates a lack of expertise. The unnecessary bends in the pipes have caused significant water pressure loss. This is unacceptable. As the issue was burred, I only discovered later during landscaping - After complaint it was rectified but still very disappointing it was handed over that way.

Misleading Marketing and pH Issues: The contract stated an "automatic pH system." What I received was a "semi-automatic" system, which was confirmed as correct according to the manufacturer's flyer after my complaints - despite the contract stating otherwise. The pool was also handed over with very high pH levels, I was told pH had to be manually adjusted at the start and whenever products are added to the water. This is clearly not an auto pH system as it doesn't measure pH for an automatic feedback loop. This system is an automatic acid addition system. Despite paying for the most expensive package available, they offer me an up a new system with real auto pH at an upgraded price.

Poor Communication from sales: My initial consultation, a critical meeting to discuss system details, was double-booked. This left me completely uninformed about important aspects of the system, including spa jet specifications and filter type. This lack of communication has led to an end product that doesn't meet my needs and expectations.

Update: This review should have gone to O'Connor branch.

After getting multiple quotes, we decided to go with Factory Pools. We visited the OConnor store and spoke to Don who helped us choose the right pool for our space. We were wanting to put our pool in prior to our house being built however our building company did not allow this. Factory Pools were helpful with pushing back our installation multiple times due to delay in house build.
Installation process was smooth, all trades involved were great. Highly recommend

My experience with Factory Pools was exceptional. From the moment we walked into the show room until handover. Every stage was handled with professionalism and integrity. All people involved were extremely helpful and friendly. There were no hidden surprises or glitches. Everything promised from Factory pools was delivered on time and of high standard. I highly recommend this company and could not fault them in any area of the process. Well Done !
