Lovely butcher and great set up, however purchased on the 23/07 and still have 2 days left before “best before” date. Can see mould so sadly going in the bin.

Just purchased beef ribs and despite being within the expiration date, they were very evidently off. The stink was horrible.
Stay away from this shop. Totally unsafe

Purchased the gold packaged eye fillets. $43 for 2. I’m very particular with my steaks and I like high quality. Not sure what was going on but they taste like dirty grass. I can’t even explain it. They aren’t “off” but they definitely aren’t even close to the quality I would expect from here. This is the second time I have bought the top quality gold packaged cuts and been underwhelming. Really sad as try to support local but unfortunately to expensive for what you get.

I've been shopping here for 6months now and have never made a bad purchase. You pay for what you get too...if you want a cheaper cut that is what it is but the top shelf steaks speak for themselves and the staff is always super helpful

Friendly and professional!!!! Helpful butchers too. Always a good experience with the team down there. Started going there about a 2 months ago and love it. Always Helpful in regards to your needs, even when you buy something and the butchers at home(wannabe butchers) tell you the meats no good but end up scoffing their faces 🤦🏽‍♂️.

So dont be shy, head down and get a deal.

Should've read these reviews before I spent money at this butcher. Very expensive low quality meat. Cooked some chicken the day after and it didn't smell right. You know when you walk into a shop and you're the only customer? Maybe people are catching on

Spent $150 for the whole week on lamb, pies, burgers, and marinated chicken drumsticks. Completely disgusted. Drumsticks were off (same day we purchased we opened them and smelled terrible, proceeded to cook and was even worse, had a bite and felt sick). Wagyu burgers came super dry like cardboard on the BBQ and the pies left us with terrible stomach cramps and heartburn.
Not sure what's going on there, but certainly, you gotta check your safe food handling procedures, again, $150 worth of different types and cuts of meat and with all of them, except the lamb, we had stomach issues (and we are regular meat eaters). Not shopping here again.
