Talk about grumpy service..
Grumpy boss makes grumpy workers..
He definitely has issues.
Nobody smiles in that place...!
He can't even cut meat to the thickness you ask for.. starts good then ends up twice as thick .. slab 4-7cm thick instead of 4cm thick cut.. bad knife skills. 🤔

Not good customer service from some lady. Probably the one in a previous review. Maybe you should look after the customers wanting to spend there hard earned cash at your business. Drove to a different suburb to get my steak. Very disappointed. I'd like to support small businesses, but its very hard to with bad customer service. I'm not after conflict when visiting a butcher. Just good steak.

I was served by a gentleman named Riley. His customer service was outstanding. Very calm, easy going, polite, and extremely helpful. He helped me get beef bone marrow for a healthy broth I'm making. He cut it into smaller sections for me. Really easy and pleasant experience. I was extremely happy to find the bone marrow, as it has many health benefits. He also gave me some other helpful options. It was an extremely good experience to be helped by the knowledgeable and kind gentleman Riley.

Seems good quality meat, but rude service. Standing at the front for two minutes but no one come to serve, even made eye contact with the old guy and he just mumbled and not intended to talk. End up just walked away, never will go back.

Purchased 2 scotch fillets $60/kg
When got them out to start cooking same day, smelt something off. When smelt closer, I nearly vomited at the smell coming off one of the fillets - smelt like sour milk. Had to bin both fillets - complete waste of money. First and only time customer.

Young girl was great to start, but after she asked a fellow grumpy old woman worker our request, who then mumbled something to herself and was extremely rude. We walked away and got our meat elsewhere. Might pay to get some customer service tips from your younger worker.

I have been coming to Five Star Meats for over 27 years and have never in my life been treated so appallingly. I was the only customer, I was being ignored, I happened to be on my phone which I would have put aside once I saw someone was coming to serve me. Other customers arrive and whom are immediately served. I then interrupted asking if I could please be served. The woman there commenced to address me in a very rude manner refusing to serve me as I was on my phone. I was lectured about how rude it is to be on the phone. At no point was I politely advised that I would not be served whilst holding a phone, regardless if I was actually talking on it or not. I was completely humiliated. She continued to talk down at me whilst impatiently asking if I wanted to be served or not. Meanwhile another customer was becoming agitated as they wanted to be served. I can understand from their point that they would not like to serve someone whilst they are distracted talking on their phone. Perhaps you could learn some manners yourself, and politely explain your policy to your customers or alternatively put a polite sign up explaining. There is absolutely no excuse to have treated me in such an appalling manner.

The quality of the meats was awesome and very tasty I would highly recommend this place. I was served by excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful. I ended up choosing a bulk family pack which ended up being cheaper than buying the items separately definitely going back to this place!
