Glad I brought an esky with me today full of ice. We have been holidaying on the NSW south coast for the past couple of weeks. We decided to leave Berry for the last day before we drive home to Sydney. We visited so many other stores and purchased some beautiful local produce however this place takes the cake. It is a foodies paradise. It seriously has everything you need. GOURMET meats , sausages , cheeses , dips , veggies and much much more. The gentleman that served us was very kind and gave us some free cheese after our purchase. Can't wait to get back to Sydney to crack it all open! Yummy!

We had the opportunity to stop in at Flavours store in Berry which specialises in selling a range of high quality gourmet foods and ingredients such as preserves, butter, meats, sauces, cordials and more.

A store run by John and Linley, who are passionate about supplying high quality regional products. If John is in store, you are in for a real treat. John is a charismatic guy and is all too happy to provide details on the products stocked or share some of his recipes.
We like their local focus, sourcing most of their products and ingredients from regional NSW.
They also distribute their food products throughout the ACT, Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Southern Sydney and South Coast and sell online too.

Many speciality pantry and deli items under one roof. Lady who serves us is very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. We bought chicken terrine and fresh bread, and both were delicious. The shop also stocked nitrate free cured meat products. Will definitely return!

It's the last day of my road trip to Berry and the Shoalhaven area. Although I've walked around the main strip of Berry, it's on the last day that I discover the little store in Berry called Flavours of Shoalhaven. It's here we meet a very passionate owner named John and his wife Linley. John is a passionate food lover who lives and breathes gourmet food. Our group starts off with a chat with the owner John. This turns into a conversation with samples of various balsamic vinegar and our little travel group is asking lots of questions and is fueling his passion. His passion fuels an impromptu foodie talk.

I went into this shop, very excited because they were selling Spanish products, which you don't get too often in a small town in Australia. As I'm spanish I saw many items I usually buy back home so I was thinking of getting Lomo (which I haven't even found in Sydney!). While I was browsing and thinking what other products I could add to my basket I took a video of the shelf to show my parents as I was really happy. While I was recording the owner just approached me from far calling me "young lady" all from across the store and asking what I was doing (thank goodness nobody else was in the store because that is a very embarrassing way of approaching a customer). I explained I was taking video and I didn't know I shouldn't. He was sooo arrogant saying it's good manners to ask for permission. -I definitely would not take pic or video if I were in a museum or viewing some art... But come on, we're talking about Aneto chicken broth here. There are ways of saying these things and this was definitely not the right one... Left the store empty handed.... I can wait to go to Spain to have some Lomo. Thank you.
