On 6 October 2023 I made a 50% deposit on 3 deck cushions for our boat, an amount of $1057.93.

The website says they are expert marine upholsterers, something I sadly can’t endorse after my experience. What was delivered to our boat was ill fitting, the stripes did not line up on the seams, the zips were not marine grade, and the stitching was wobbly.

The website also states you can return a product within 30 days. False advertising in our case. When I asked for a refund I was refused albeit the product was not fit for purpose.

One year later I’m still struggling to get my money back. Even the Office of Fair Trading had no success negotiating a fair outcome with this company.

One week ago they agreed to refunding $750 of my initial deposit after I received advice from QCAT that Foam & Rubber would more than likely be required to pay the full amount of the deposit along with any application fees which are over $120.

Although it would seem a full reimbursement of my initial deposit would be correct and fair business practice, I am still yet to receive the agreed $750.

It’s been a stressful and very unpleasant experience I’d not wish upon anyone and it’s still on going!

PS Can I please have my old cushions back. Thank you.

PSS If you see this review vanish it’s because they finally gave me my money back and one of their terms was deleting this review.

Had my front car seats re-upholstered with new quality foam as the factory foam was falling apart and uncomfortable. Dominic did a fantastic job, he even got rid of the bolsters to make it more comfortable. He also salvaged the factory trim and added it to the new trim for me to make it look like it came out of the factory like that! I am so happy, the seats are finally extremely comfortable now! They also ended up charging me LESS than what they quoted me for, genuine, honest guys! Highly recommend Dominic!!

Just called to buy a leg elevation pillow after getting out of surgery yesterday and struggling to sleep with my leg on a pillow. Deepak has generously put aside an elevation pillow and is dropping it off to me on his way home to ensure I am able to have a much better nights sleep.
