Rode bikes to the wreck. It was a superb ride and the inclines are very tolerable. The views were stunning and there are frequent places to stop and rest and take in the view.

This park used to be a lovely place to relax, but it's now completely ruined. Homeless people are everywhere, and the park is absolutely filthy. There's rubbish strewn all over the place, and it smells terrible. I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone. The Moreton Bay council needs to help and provide adequate bins and help maintain this once beautiful location.

From earlier this morning. A few metres from the entrance is the entry to now fully fenced and off limit is the Gayundah Wreck which is now permanently closed to the public but still visible with nothing much left these days, (rusting away on its own), from a few metres and from the top of the hill at about 11.5 metres to the lower ground.

The Gayundah Wreck might be rusting away but it’s surrounding beauty doesn’t.

Today’s photos attached showing you that it’s easy and accessible via public bus transport or taxi, parking lot in area all free like anywhere else in Redcliffe.

A beautiful little nook of Woody Point that feels tucked away and hidden. Great walking and cycling path with access to the beach which is a great place to fossick at low tide. A great place for sunrise photos.

This location has a lot of homeless people unfortunately living in tents. The government should assist them. The public toilet facilities have been locked now for a long period of time and the area is generally untidy and not well maintained.

A lovely coastal park nearby to the Gayundah wreckage. The arboretum has a central main path from the HMQS Gayundah viewing platform towards the end of the esplanade. It's was relatively quiet when we visited and there a few keen photographers waiting for the tides to turn for photos of the wreckage. Suitable for strollers with a ramp down to the path, and plenty of places for picnics and enjoying the views.

Omg, went there for a walk and was expecting a beautiful arboretorium area. Instead we just walked in front of a long term skatting area, full of junk, people drinking, tents sitting there like a permanent junk installation. Really rubbish and untidy. Would prefer a safer Woody Point
