They were so lovely to me and I want them to know that my recovery was in every one of their beautiful hands, and I am a better man, after meeting them, I was in a bad way, and I knew it, and they reminded me, that there is humanity in this world, that there are people that truly care, I may have missed some names however the whole team in Greylands and the doctors included and the nurses, social workers and the OT's saved me from a potential server mental breakdown, I can't say thank you enough and if we ever cross paths again know that I'll give you the biggest smile and wave, you really did help me and I might forget your names however I'll never forget your caring faces

Kind Regards From James Anderson 🙏😁

I was kept in Graylands Hospital for a very long time after being examined by the main psychiatrist who saw how bad the SA was and when I went to use a payphone everything a particular male nurse kept hanging up on me. I hate this place with a passion

I had a great stay! The beds were nice and warm, and they even cleaned out the blood from the bed sheets! I didn't mind the weird smell coming from under my mattress, it was very comfy!

I was sent to Pinch ward because I had a meltdown at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital. The staff are very much like police. The ward I was in decayed in my mind but they kept me locked up anyway. This disrespectful nurse one time told me, “Life’s full of disappointed.” He was really trying to make me feel worse. None of the other nurses would even let me talk about it with them. They were letting that prick get away with it. They would get angry at me for swearing and yelling. They’re even stupid, because all I needed was comfort, but they just gave me medication, and one time when I had a headache, they gave me calming pills instead of Panadol. What’s also bad is that the psychiatrist said that I said “everything is ‘draining my energy’”, and that I was on drugs when I meant to tell her that Lovan is an antidepressant. I do not recommend going to this hospital at any time. I nearly never got my disability support pension because of that psychiatrist.

I arrived in Perth for a holiday and went to stay at Graylands as I was told that it was cheap and conveniently located. Gotta say that the other guests were slightly bizarre at first but after a few days we all got along real well.I only came to Perth for 2 weeks and that was 8 months ago as the staff seem very reluctant to let me go. Man I love this place.

Quite out of date few methods of treatment, dr's aren't so good, seen some people worse than at the start. Not that helpful, can feel worse being there. Hitler would recommend it. Try other smaller hospital nicer staff, dr's rather see how medicated a patient take instead of helping to work through what problems a person has, have seen some bad things happen.

Visiting my Brother who hàs Lived in Graylands ALOT of his 13yrs old to 34yrs old life. I find Grayland a reasonable hospital for the Mentally Ill, Disabled; whose Families have very little to do with them, along with thier Community & Health Systems that constantly fail. Due to Staff turn over & bad record keeping. And sheer OVER WORKED and Under Staffed. Pacific World College Institute Training of Patients plus more...
