The worst FIFO experience I've had in decades. Don't accept a job here on nightshift. The facilities and views are amazing. They appear to have an unwritten anti-couple policy and will put you at opposite ends and sides of the camp and give you a flat no if you ask to at least be put closer together, this has happend to us 4 times. The staff appear to go out of their way to wake you up day after day, send you to occupied or unclean rooms then clean the room next door as loudly as they can, chainsaw trees around the camp, test fire alarms. When you get up to show them you've been awoken they're not apologetic. We're quitting our jobs to end the nightmare.

Typical Rio Tinto Sodexo camp. During minesite construct at least 50% of my crew got food poisoning, some got food poisoning on more than one occasion.

Food is terrible. Some nights good some nights almost un edible, rooms are cleaned sporadically, you might get clean towels twice this week and not get any the next. No Common room as yet. They run out of certain types of food regularly but never seem to run out of beer.... because they make more money off the beer. Shop is waaayyy overpriced and lacks basic hygiene products which you can barely transport due to the 10kg bag limit by the airport.

For a mine/camp of the future someone’s got that wrong . Airport departures always delayed, the food I’d skip dinner most nights just Sodexho rubbish,crib is woeful the selection is terrible. Worst camp I’ve ever stayed in & for a mine of the future someone needs to wake up to themselves .
