I recently had scans and an injection at GXU, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The entire team was professional, kind, and made me feel completely at ease.

A special shoutout to Brooke at the front desk for her warm and welcoming approach, making check-in effortless. Ashlee, the radiographer, and Troy, the sonographer, were both fantastic—knowledgeable, reassuring, and incredibly professional throughout the scans. And Dr. Scott, who performed my injection, was highly skilled and made the procedure as comfortable as possible.

For 2 weeks have I tried to get into a radiology centre in Newcastle for a required biopsy before my upcoming surgery and faced nothing but hurdles. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at GXU; from the receptionist, whom I inadvertently bombarded with emails, to the nurse who looked after me before, during and after my biopsy and the doctor who explained the procedure so calmly to me and gave me advance notice during the procedure of what was happening next. Should I have to have another biopsy I would definitely arrange to go to GXU again. Even a day later I was contacted to see how I was going. I can’t praise them enough! I thoroughly recommend their services.

I was nervous about having a lung biopsy, especially since I was informed that the only anaesthetic would be a local, I needed to be aware and awake to follow breathing instructions. From the very start the staff were wonderful, I was made to feel safe and relaxed in their capable hands. The Dr who did the procedure was equally as confident, capable and friendly. Because of the staff the whole experience was nowhere near as daunting or scarey as I expected it would be.

Very good experience, your workers are a credit to you. Your chairs are very uncomfortable though and not very good for sitting for a long time. I understand the attraction of the economy value in seating choices, but spend a little more on comfort and over the many years it lasts you, it's really not that much more.
