Nestled in the heart of the hinterland, Hampton Estate Wines delivers a culinary experience that’s as refined as its stunning vineyard views. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting—an effortless blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was crafted with care, highlighting fresh, local ingredients that celebrated the region’s produce. The standout for me was the roast chicken— tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection, balanced beautifully with seasonal vegetables and a silky jus.

The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about both the food and the wine.

Whether you're there for a romantic lunch, a celebration, or just to indulge in good food and even better wine, Hampton Estate delivers in every way. It's a hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise—and I can’t wait to return.

Had lunch at the restaurant today and while it was a lovely setting atop the hills and run by friendly staff, it wasn't the meal that I hoped it would be! I ordered the spring rolls entrée and the salmon main and honestly I was disappointed with both. The spring rolls while filled with exotic meats and flavours were lacklustre. Small in size and deep fried to death. The salmon also was very plain. For $38 I was expecting skin-on buttery salmon but it just wasn't enjoyable. No skin and just a thick, dry cut. Attempted to season with salt but what useless salt shakers! Please Hampton Estate, give the tables salt and pepper grinders not clogged up shakers! I think they could do better and I hope this feedback helps.

We had a wonderful experience at the winery, and Darcy made it even better. Her service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She really added a special touch to our visit. Highly recommend!

Have stayed here previously but on this occasion, I was part of a wine tour. We had lunch here and the food was great! Recommend Hampton Estate for a weekend away or mid-week getaway.

Our group centre for wine tasting and lunch so can't comment on accommodation. ||Wine tasting - mediocre. We stood around the outside bar in the partial shade/ sun and were served 4 "ok not great" wines by a pleasant young man. Not an overwhelming experience. ||Lunch - Meals were well presented and tasty. ||Ambience - ok |||Staff - very polite and friendly

We got married at Hampton Estate Wines in April & our day couldn't have been more perfect thanks to the team at HEW! The owners truly went above & beyond to ensure our weekend ran seamlessly. Our families stayed at the venue with us the night before the wedding & it was great having access to the BBQ facilities for a relaxed evening. Our wedding day ran so smoothly (if anything went wrong, then I don't know about it!) - the team at HEW is incredibly professional. Our guests absolutely LOVED the food & wine, especially the sparkling rose! Thank you so much HEW, looking forward to returning soon xx
