I had a trailer frame and small parts galvanised a few weeks ago. The quality of the work has taken a dive since I last had something done, it was as if the zinc baths weren't hot enough because there were many very thick areas and someone had attempted to thin these with a grinder, ruining the finish. Some surfaces were also so gritty and rough that I had to sand this down, the zinc bath obviously needed cleaning. One of the trailer fenders was buckled from something heavy pressing on it and one bracket went missing. Additional holes were also drilled that weren't necessary. I will look elsewhere next time which is a pity as they are close to where I live.

I needed to get a trailer bed galvanised quickly for a client who "needed" his trailer back to go fishing on an annual jaunt. Leaving us with little time to get the job done.
If not for Shane and the team at Hartways it couldn't have happened.

What started off pleasant turned into a game of cat and mouse, after 2 months waiting for the job, I had to make the calls finding out where it was. Originally quoted a 20 day turn around time turned into near 50. Nothing offered in return, barely an apology. Will never use again, had much better experience at Fero/DSI. Terrible.

Hartways are easy to deal with, generally orders are processed in a timely manner. Sometimes when they clean up your job (removing dags) after hot dipping they go back to bare metal, most of the time they they do good work

I've been using Heartway for small jobs for a few years now. They have reasonable rates and on the one occasion there was a small problem, they acted to fix it.
