Came here with Papou today, he showed me his favourite fruit and vegetable shop, and bought me a very nice steak and mushroom pie. There's plenty of parking, either underground or up the top with plenty of ACROD spaces. There's a wide variety of shops here, a great local shopping centre.

I just wanted to mention how smelly that new Mr Minit is compare to the old Pete’s shoe repair place. Every time I go past it the smell almost knocks you over even in the supermarket… not sure why, but they must be using much stronger adhesive than Pete did and it is quite upsetting for asthma sufferers. Also people with allergies.

The shopping centre was open air and the restaurants were closed when I went there. The woolworth took their time to get our groceries. However, the food was in good condition and had no substitutes.

Great shopping center. Very family oriented. Areas for relaxing outside are well kept. The live music is very inviting. Play area for children is modern and interesting. Good shade and lots of plants. Shame that some of the small popular shops have left thd centre.

I had one of the most stressful days today, I lost my wallet, I only realised when I went to pay for my petrol. Went back to the Mez, spoke to alot of people and no one had handed in. I then went to Woollies and spoke to one of the staff members manning the main counter. The young man remembered a lady coming to the counter telling him that she was going to hand it to the Scarborough police station. I rang them but they were closed, so I came home with my young granddaughter, unloaded our shopping, once finished I had to put our rubbish bins down for tomorrow’s collection, I then decided to check my mail box, my wallet was in it with a message from JANE, she had driven all the way to our home after going to the police station and finding it closed. Unfortunately, Jane didn’t leave a phone number or any contact details.
This has really touched my heart ❤️ and proves that there is decent people in the world and the Christmas spirit is alive, God bless you Jane 🙏
