I get steaks from Herb & Cooke every week. The best steak I've ever eaten came from here. Their selection of meat is good. Lamb and pork has been excellent. Best butcher in the Illawarra.

Best local Butchers with the most freshest meat. I highly recommend this place with so much variety. They will look after you so go in and say hi you will leave with a smile and some yummy fresh meat for dinner. Its great value with wonderful customer service. Support local you wont be disappointed

I highly recommend Herb & Cooke. Their product is of an excellent quality and the snags are second to none. I'm never disappointed. The hot pies are also great with actual chunks of meat, you can buy them cold as well. It's great to see their product NOT packed in cartons like the competition up the road. Friendly and just genuinely good people. They even go out of their way to get a cut of meat that is rarely asked for. Thanks guys

Great to have another old school butcher shop!! Great service from nice people. If you want meat cut how you want it not wrapped in plastic these are your guys!! Good snags (always an indicator for me of a decent butcher) and the other meat I bought was also excellent.

Fantastic old fashioned butcher. Freshly crumbed proper breast schnitzel, even recrumbed before bagging. Eye fillet was amazing too all at a good prices. Great to see the new, new owners really taking the bat-ton and once again serving great produce from an iconic Illawarra shop front.

Have passed by shop many times n notice signage out side stating Hot pies...!!! today 2nd of August was the day I stopped and walked into premises and purchased two plain beef pies un cooked planning dinner. You didn't dissapont so good full of beef no grissel n gravey. Highly recommend needless to say I'll be back for more and pie should be given awards.Differently 5 stars and more.Many thanks and appreciation highly recommend
