Brendon was professional, punctual, polite, thorough, tidy and his work is of high quality. Throughout the rebuild of our front verandah he communicated any issues for us to decide.
He built the jarrah balustrades by hand to a high tolerance using recovered timber where possible. The weatherboard side walls he fitted are perfect.
His apprentice, Alex was also very helpful, skilled and hard working. At the end of the job Brendon also did a quality inspection. Looking forward to working with Heritage Carpentry & Joinery again in the future. Great job.

Brendon is excellent and we would highly recommend. We renovated and rebuilt the back half of our 120 year old cottage. Brendon’s professionalism and considered approach was apparent from the start. He always explained things & worked with us as to what we were wanting. Brendon’s attention to detail and craftsmanship resulted in high standard finishes.. the other tradies often told us how good he was! Brendon combined old with new, for example reusing old doors and bifolds that we wanted to incorporate. He crafted a new archway for our corridor that we love. Brendon from Heritage Carpentry & Joinery recently supplied and installed external fretwork and verandah posts to my Federation style home and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. He was totally professional in all his dealings by providing concise costs, what was achievable, along with quality workmanship and materials.
This certainly wasn’t an easy job but Brendon pulled it all together for me and I am over the moon with the outcome. I have now booked him for further work. I cannot wait for his return!

Brendon from Heritage Carpentry & Joinery recently undertook a significant scope of work for us - weatherboard cladding, restoring 4 sash windows, and restoring the front entrance of our circa 1900 home.

Brendon is so lovely to deal with - extremely professional and reliable. His knowledge of, and commitment to, faithfully restoring heritage features is impressive. His attention to detail is outstanding - both in terms of expert workmanship and consideration given to things like weatherproofing, insulation, air sealing (for thermal efficiency) and sound proofing - which have all greatly improved the comfort of our home.

Brendon is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is professional, responsive and happy to adapt and work with you to really meet your goals.

Brendon has now completed a couple of medium and large scale jobs for us in our 1900's weatherboard cottage. Everything from re-hanging doors, and installation of underfloor insulation to repair of our heritage features. He genuinely cares about the outcome and takes pride in the work of himself and those he works with.

We were very pleased with both the quality and value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, or to have him help us again in future.

HighIy recommend! I used Brendon's services recently for various jobs that included replacing weatherboard panels, installing new doors and windows and improving the general working and draft proofing of my sash windows.
