I would not recommend this company for any basin or baths.

We had to accept what we were given even though we weren’t happy with the finished products. A sample tile was provided of a finish we expected, however the finished products were completely different.

Full payment was requested and sadly out of good will, payment was made before the job was completed and therefor we had no choice but to accept what we were given.

They never took accountability for their mistakes through out the entire process and it was always put back on us. It was by far the worst customer experience we have ever recieved.

This company does not offer site measures, and do not offer sealing. All of which is crucial in any build of this kind.

After speaking to multiple GRC companies after being told by HGN to do our research, they were astonished that we were receiving products that were not sealed.

After test patching the material to see if they were indeed water and stain repellent as informed, we realised that they were not and decided to not accept the products until they were sealed.

HGN then after requesting a further $1k plus payment to seal, wanted to seal $18k worth of products with 50 plus $16 dollar dulux spray cans from bunnings that were not recommended for GRC and was in fact used for arts and crafts. Stating that they couldn't find any penetrating sealers available anywhere.

We then had to take the products away without being sealed and have had to seal them ourselves. In doing so we can trust that the products would be sealed with a suitable product and would not provide any risk of yellowing and would give us longevity for the future.

If you are looking for a stress free experience, and to have faith in a product in terms of longevity and recieving what you ask and pay for, then this most certainly is not it.

HGN Design are skilled at making superb architectural plasterwork from heritage to modern 3-D wall finishes. They supply high quality Jesmonite products that are cost-effective, tough, durable and lightweight alternative to natural stone for architectural details. I wish Google had more rating stars for their products as well as their exceptionally fast and professional customer service!
