My wife and I had a lovely evening at the bar chatting with the landlord/lady Doug & Fiona. All staff were very welcoming and the dinner we had was delicious. Our room was inevitably dated, however good value, very quiet and peaceful; the bed was very comfortable we had a good sleep. Definitely recommend a stay here if comfortable economy is your want.

Doug and Fiona work together to provide a great experience at the Cunnamulla Hotel. The bar is well stocked with the ordinary ales as well as a good choice of local boutique beers. A very good and well priced wine list was welcome and I purchased a good selection of excellent and well priced wines. A very popular and friendly atmosphere has been created by the publican team, with prompt service and good conversation and a nice experience of remembering names. The rooms I have stayed in have been comfortable and excellent value. All in all a great place to visit, have a drink or two, eat nicely prepared fresh meals and good rooms to catch some zzzzzs to face the next day ready to face the world.

Our group of six had the most beautiful meal here last night. Everyone in the group rated it 5 stars and thoroughly enjoyed what they had ordered. Everything came quickly even though there were only two people working in the kitchen and a nearly full dining room.

Only stopped in for dinner, which was delicious - sate chicken (couldn't eat it all), sticky pork belly, followed by chocolate minted ice cream cake and sticky date pudding. Yummy. They apologised for current restricted menu due to staff shortage (common problem in the bush).

Had an exceptional meal here with some good choices not typical pub fare. Greek chicken and beef bush stew both really excellent. Pub rather lacking ambiance. Good very good value for money.

Excellent location
The man that served us appeared to be a little eccentric but nice enough.
The room well it’s not the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. I understand it’s a country pub but coffee mugs to go with the kettle and coffee would have been helpful.
The bed was comfortable, the shower could do with a makeover given the broken tiles and mould. The water stinks of rotten egg I thought it was my husband’s farts but no it was the water! The cover of the ventilation fan in the bathroom was lent up against the wall.
Friday nights are a little rowdy downstairs. I wouldn’t stay here with children.

What an amazing meal considering the remoteness of Cunnamulla. Best meals we have had on our western qld road trip. The same meal in Brissy would have been double the price.
