We are in absolute love with our videos! Ewan has done a fantastic job.

We were very excited to book in Hudson Films for our wedding we booked with plenty of time! Ewan is so easy to talk to and really made the whole process so easy. Because we were from out of town to come up for our wedding in Port Douglas we spoke with Ewan over the phone, was super chill and went through a rough plan of the day. For us who were already a little nervous with organising this was such a relief!

On the day, we were so stoked when Ewan rolled up with our photographer, we greeted like old friends even though we were only just meeting in person. He helped create the relaxing fun vibe the day was. For the ceremony and reception he was a fly on the wall, caught amazing footage without interrupting a thing. For the portrait session he added such fun a creative ideas and made us laugh like mad! There's some awesome photos and footage of Mitch and I laughing from the stuff Ewan and Jason (photographer) would say and do.

At the end of it all we were sad to part ways. But then we received a link to our video and we got to relive the magic all over again. My family and friends absolutely love our highlights film and I think it currently has like 400 views? At least 100 of them are me I reckon. I love the video so much, it really reflects the amazing day we had, was like seeing our day in a feature film/movie. Having Hudson Films at your wedding is the best decision you could make! !!! BRILLIANT !!!

It's impossible to find enough words to adequately describe how thrilled we are with Hudson Films. Ewan was the first vendor we booked for our wedding (besides our Celebrant), and hiring him is one of the BEST decisions we've ever made.

Things we absolutely LOVED...

* THE VERY FIRST PHONE CALL - Ewan was so warm, genuine, funny, and giving of his time right from the get-go, so it felt like chatting to an old friend! Any follow up chats were exactly the same.

* THE PROFESSIONALISM - All communication was clear, straightforward and seamless; transactions were super easy; everything was well organised and planned out; Ewan even got in touch with our other suppliers to make sure everything ran perfectly for us. He also came to meet us and our guests the day before so we could get to know each other & feel relaxed about the process. Such a professional business.

* THE PRICE - Extremely reasonable, particularly given that the end product is absolutely priceless... worth every single cent, no question.

* THE PASSION - Ewan quite clearly loves his work, and is a master at it! We had a non-traditional, elopement style wedding, and Ewan had some really clever filmography ideas which really tailored our wedding video to suit the day and get the very best from it. He also worked very closely with our photographer so both of them could maximise their shots and vibe off each other's creativity - we were SO impressed by this.

* THE PRESENCE - One thing we were a little worried about with wedding videography was potentially feeling like we were being directed on the set of a TV show with a lens in our faces all day. There was not once a feeling of awkwardness; Ewan was present when needed, and discrete at exactly the right moments. We didn't even SEE him as we were getting married, yet he got the most wonderful close up shots! He also mingled so naturally with our guests, and everyone came away saying he was a top bloke!

* THE END PRODUCT - The minute we woke up the next day we were so thankful we'd made the decision to hire Hudson Films to capture our most precious memory. Our wedding video is now literally our most FAVOURITE thing that we own. We had said the film would be our wedding present to ourselves, and it's the greatest gift we've ever received. Ewan totally and utterly blew our expectations out of the water with the finished product, and we will treasure it for a lifetime.

Things we didn't love...

* NOTHING. Hudson Films are amazing. Book them.

We can’t thank Ewan from Hudson Films enough. Such a nice guy!!! and made us feel so comfortable when we thought we would be super awkward to film. We are obsessed with our wedding video, he captured all the amazing moments as well as all the fun! Giving us all the feels every time we watch it! 10/10
