We hired some lights from Icon AV for my daughters 21st, and highly recommend these guys. The online booking system was easy, they were more flexible with pickup-drop off times than others I contacted, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly on arrival and the lights themselves were super easy to setup and packdown. Highly recommend these guys for lighting needs and would definitely use again.

ICON AV are quite simply the bee’s knees folks. Supremely professional, very affordable and, perhaps most importantly in this industry: RELIABLE.

The best way I can share my experience with them is by copying a segment of my recent review with Hire King:

I’ve been hiring equipment for around 10 years, this is the second or third time with Hire King and, in short, there ARE much better options for the Perth area:

When it became apparent that Hire King was a complete fail for the day of the event, we frantically called around and found ICON AV who managed to give us the exact same professional gear
with an EXTRA speaker
AND extra light
AND pickup
AND delivery
WITHIN AN HOUR
for $270 CHEAPER (including bond).
Over the phone.
Go figure.

It’s worth remembering that sometimes the “big names” like Hire King corner the market after so many years and then hike the prices. But dudes like ICON AV (though the name may not be as catchy as “Hire King”) are working their damned hardest to compete - and doing a bloody good show of it too.
Super fast delivery, pickup, extra gear included — and all for a CHEAPER price!? Like. Wut?

If it weren’t for them, my event probably would’ve had to be cancelled. ICON AV saved the day, and turn out to be, objectively, a better business.

The team from ICON AV, at very short notice, put together the most spectacular float for our entry in this years Pride Parade. They well outshone our expectations with an incredible coordinated lighting display with awesome sound to match the theme of our entry. They operated all the sound and lighting on the night and were a pleasure to work with. As a non-for-profit with a limited budget, they were also extremely competitively priced. We would absolutely recommend ICON AV.
