Really nice facility. Award winning rums with a taste of comfort to suit a varierty of patrons, using unique and exquisite natural native flavors with no sugars. Service was also friendly, informative, polite and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend a tasting.

Very disappointing, the website says they were open as well as their opening times at the front gate we arived on Saturday at 11:15am only to be greeted by a completely closed up facility. If your not open at least update your opening times so people don't make a trip out to just turn around to go back.

We even called at 11:30 twice to no answer to see if qe were in the wrong spot. We did follow the signs through the gate all the way around to the building which was completely closed up at the time.

What a great find. The spiced Rum is Devine and the gin is amazing as well. Both reasonably priced plus It’s a nice drive out here The kitchen is not open at the moment but we bought some nibbles to have after the tasting

Great spiced rum. We bought some to go. Bit underwhelming experience consider that you'd have to travel quite far in to get here, and they only have 4 items to taste. Apart from the tasting, and a 30$ guided tour, there is really nothing else to do or see here.

The tasting pour for one is small (15ml), the price to taste (for one) is 5$. The price for the spiced rum is the same as what you'd pay in the bottle shop in perth. In fact, one might get them cheaper at the bottle shop if they are on special.

Awesome place! We stumbled over this beautiful distillery by chance when we spend one night at Dongara Tourist Park. The tour was really cool and it is amazing to see that such little distilleries still exist! The tasting after the tour was really good and we ended up buying a bottle of rum to take it back to Germany 😊

What an amazing place. Charlotte was such a wonderful hostess for our tasting. Very knowledgeable about all the products and processors and extremely friendly. The gins and rums were all very nice. The only down side was that we are travelling in a caravan so had to limit our buying.
It is so nice to see an all Australian company competing and wining internationally.
Highly recommend a visit.

I arrived with my family at I.T. on a Thursday, at 4pm. Closing time is at 5pm.

We were greeted by a young man who informed us that the cellar door was closed for the day. He said that he had deliveries to make and that low customer numbers in the afternoon justified his decision to close early. He asked us if we were interested in a tasting or just purchasing bottles. We replied yes to both.
He informed us of the 11am opening time the next day and that bottles can be purchased from Dan Murphy's. I responded that we would have left town by 11am.

Really disappointed to not have the staff member reconsider opening the cellar door with our arrival well before the advertised closing time of 5pm. I made an effort to schedule our family road trip home (with 2 kids under 4) to align with one of the few days I.T. is open as well as learning about this distillery as they are a sponsor at my local football club.

Next time my family visits Dongara, I will be reluctant to visit I.T. as I can't be confident that the venue will be open as per its advertised opening hours.

Awesome little hidden gem in Dongara. We did the tastings and bought all 3 bottles Amos was brilliant with his knowledge of the rum and it’s defiantly worth the drive
