I cannot possibly say enough that would give Joshua the credit that he deserves, he is an outstanding driving instructor and a true asset to any beginner driver. Joshua is personable, patient, a great communicator and super funny. He has great observation skills - he will tailor his approach to an individual learner working on the specific skills they need to be an effective and safe driver. He was a continued source of encouragement during my time learning how to drive. In fact I don’t think I could’ve done it without him! I couldn’t recommend In Gear Australia highly enough to any beginner driver. Thank you Joshua and Julie - you are both fantastic!

Booked lessons two months in advance. Cancelled two appointments and then pushed back again for another month. Don’t waste your time and use someone else.

It felt alright at the beginning, Josh was friendly and reassuring, gave you instructions what to do each step alo the practicing. Josh thought I was ready to go so I recommended me to take to test with Julia. I was quite nervous with Julie. I failed three times in a roll within a week. Then I contacted Josh for more practice but he’s not responsive anymore. So I had to find another instructor, who’s much more committed and supportive throughout the whole time till I got my license. I know Josh and Julie were doing their job for road safety, but they failed me, not a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend In Gear to people I know.

Joshua is an amazing driving instructor that teaches to the pace of the student. He and Julie give amazing feedback and can cater to all types of learners while creating a calm and stress-free environment. I highly recommend these two to any learners wanting to get their license! 🙂

I'm an exceptionally nervous driver, and I'm very grateful to Joshua and Julie for ensuring I got to where I needed to be. Their patience and communication was excellent, and they always gave advice and guidance on the littlest things, which is what I needed. Whilst it cost me quite a bit (the only downside I believe) I'm happy with the experience because of the quality teaching and support from the instructors 🙂

100% would recommend and would give a 10/10 if I could. Joshua makes learning to drive fun and it's more like driving with a close friend instead of a stranger. Even if I made some mistakes he was calm and patient with me. After every lesson i felt more comfortable and confident with my driving.
