My observation of the effects inpex has had in Darwin and the after effect future repercussions for Darwin.

Full of brown noses, 457's, blow inns and a over representation of non locals. I'm disgusted at how JKC has obvious first preference for fi/fo workers over Darwin locals who at times are far more qualified. The inpex project has done nothing but put darwin up crap creek with out a paddle. The greedy politicians making deals with sly big building company's putting up a abundance of housing and units in the hopes of people relocating to darwin primarily for inpex when the reality is that the inpex camp holds over 4000 people at any time with over 1000 people who are management staying in fancy hotels in darwin city. Thanks to inpex, greedy politicians and building companies there is now plenty of empty realestate in darwin which is has ruined the real estate market, plenty of companies who banked on inpex dealings with locals first now bankrupt and when inpex is gone and dusted less selection of jobs due to competition from blow inns. So in the the long run of things Darwin is up the creek but some people don't know it yet.
