On March 19, 2025, I completed a prestart meeting with Hayden at Intelligent Homes. The process of booking an appointment was incredibly straightforward, thanks to their user-friendly online tool (Acuity Scheduling). Once I was onsite, each interaction was positive, from the receptionist to my consultant (Hayden).

It was evident from the get-go that Hayden knew his stuff and walked me through some of the offerings after we discussed roughly what I was after. Importantly, at no point did I feel pressured to select anything, which made the entire process feel comfortable and under my control. All advice provided was clear and concise, making it super easy to work through the process of where additional items like extra data points, a pre-installed networking rack, etc., would be.

The building company we built through recommended Intelligent homes.

I chose to upgrade to "smart wiring" but there is ABSOLUTELY nothing smart about it at all.

I was sucked into believing that all wiring for t.vs would be hidden behind t.vs as that was what was sold to me in conversation! First of all the conduits used are 25mm and absolutely none of the hdmi or power cords would even fit in there!

I even had a ex employee of there's do a cashie to install all t.vs and he couldn't even understand why it was done like this as he couldn't get the wiring through the conduits!

You would think these guys being the "professionals" in there field would thoughroly take the time to advise the right way ESPECIALLY to a first home builder how to meet there basic needs.

This upgrade was $3800! For me to only be told by multiple electrical professionals that it was a absolute waste of money. Intelligent homes could have just advised that I just need data point,aerial and PowerPoint's raised to the height of the t v to be hidden!

The upgrade is purely data points throughout which lead back to a box in my garage but with wireless connection I don't even need it and they should have advised that in the meeting.

I was told that all wires will run in the wall through conduits (which nothing would fit through) but had only caused it to look like a absolute mess!

The plugs wouldn't even reach the PowerPoint's too.

I do not recommend this company to ANY people building new homes!

A positive and informative experience at Intelligent Homes. There was a parking spot with my name on it on arrival. I had a meeting with consultant Hayden who was friendly and more than happy to answer all of my questions. There was a detailed run-through of what costs would be included in my build package, and what costs would be extra (i.e. transparency). The Showroom at Osbourne Park is quiet and amazing to see the technology products in person. An itemised quote is received in hard copy and there is reassurance that the Intelligent Homes team install the hardware themselves. Thank you for a positive experience Hayden.

I recently used Intelligent Home for my home setup. They were quick and efficient in providing a quote, and the process was quite fast, which I appreciated. However, I felt that the quote lacked detailed information about the products being offered. It would have been helpful to have more clarity on the specifications and features of the items mentioned, so I could make a more informed decision. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement in communication and detail.

Excellent company to deal with! We have a 15 year-old house and it was time to upgrade the Home Automation, C-Bus, Front Gate controller, Utilities Cabinet, and lighting. Daniel, Cameron, Simon and their team did a great job. I was particularly impressed with their follow-up service getting every last detail right, took a lot of patience. For the first time we are fully utilising our C-Bus system and can control everything through an App. And, finally, our utilities cabinet is nice and neat! (See before and after photos below).
