We've had nothing but the best experience with the crew at Jacksons Carry Me Campers and feel like a part of a family.

After seeing it at a show in Sydney we put a deposit on and later travelled to SA to get it started. We had such a great time, firstly at Jacksons Campers, then Jacksons 4x4 for the car fit out plan, and finally purchasing the BT50 at Mazda Mt Barker. Then we left it to the three of them and they sorted the whole package for us.

Super happy with the whole process and the result is all we could have wanted. First class workmanship and service.

Unfortunately the purchase happened just before the pandemic so we haven't been anywhere too adventurous yet apart from taking a road trip to Tassie and a 4x4 driving course, on which, I can say without a doubt that, it performed as good, if not better than all the unladen vehicles with us.

So we are ready to go and can't wait to let you know what we get up to.

Had my hard top just over 2 years now on the road full time touring Australia. Have been through some rough cold winter weather recently, camper is a sound as day One.
Recently removed one under-utilised fridge slide on the passenger side and fitted and additional shelf to allow for the Espresso machine and bean 🫘 grinder - anyone interested in the 45ltr slide?

We have had our Jacksons Carry Me Camper Hard Lid Slide On for just over a year now and absolutely love it. We carry it on the back of our Ford Ranger Extra Cab ute. This is a perfect option for us as we don't really like to tow a trailer.

The build quality of the camper is superb, and the best of all of the campers we looked at, before we made our choice. There is so much storage space available, and there is a definite attention to detail in all aspects of the camper.

The pre-sales support from the team at Jacksons Australia was fantastic, and they promptly answered all of the many email and phone enquiries we had for them (being that we live in NSW and their factory is in SA). It is also great to buy a product that is Australian Made from an Australian Owned company.

Their after sales service and support is excellent too, and they still have no problem with answering any other questions or addressing any issues which we had.

Whenever we are out and about either on a 4WD trip, at the local shopping centre, or even in our own driveway at home, people always want to stop and check out the camper when they see it opened up.

I have no hesitation in recommending a Jacksons Carry Me Camper Hard Lid Slide On to anyone.

Very well thought out, excellent quality camper. well worth the money. Had a small problem soon after taking delivery (not their fault) and this was dealt with at our earliest convenience. From the first appointment to every conversation, we have felt to be part of the family at Jacksons. Workmanship is first class and it shows right from the design to the finished product.
We have a Hard Lid Camper and it has been our companion through all the deserts of Australia, Cape York and many trips into the Victorian High Country. Strong , versatile and easy set up and pack up is something that is important to me. Inside design is well thought out and flexible to suit you personal needs.

Hi to all the Carry Me Camper people from 2 Kiwis that have purchased the complete unit from Jackson’s.

My wife and I purchased our camper and it was ready for delivery in February 2020. It was our intention to travel around Australia in the camper but due to the uncertainty of Covid and having border restrictions we decided to ship the vehicle out to NZ. It has arrived snd has been through customs, bio security and vehicle inspection. I must there were plenty of comments about wanting a vehicle like this.

We are embarking on a 2 week cross country trip of the South Island in February with 4 other like minded people. I will post pics of our trip along the way as the scenery is stunning. Having received our vehicle I have to say we are extremely pleased and overwhelmed with the workmanship and attention to detail that Jackson’s have gone to. Their costumer has been second to none. The vehicle has been stored for us since February 2020 and Stuart at Jackson’s organised to have the vehicle transported from Murray Bridge to the port of Melbourne where left to be shipped to NZ. During this time Stuart kept us up to date with progress along the way as they did during the build as we were unable to visit Australian shores during lockdown.

Jackson’s 4x4 built up our 79 series Toyota Landcruiser with every extra required for the outback. Once again the team at Jackson’s 4x4 were great to deal with, nothing was a problem and all done by remote, emails etc. their workmanship is of a very high standard just like the camper. Talk about customer delight!!

We are looking forward to getting out in our new camper which is the talk of the town.
