The short old fat man that works there is completely hopeless at his job, purchased a battery from them a few months ago. Now it’s faulty and won’t charge. We took it back there hoping to get it exchanged, we been told that because it’s been purchased through afterpay, we have to deal with it through afterpay. We left the battery there so they can do a multimeter check on it. Hours gone past and we didn’t hear anything. We came back and we spoke to Kristofer (think that’s how it’s spelt), he went and spoke to the witless old man and I heard he say “ITS CHARGING!” Kristofer went out the back and done a multimeter test on it and the voltage was fluctuating, meaning it’s faulty. He gave us a new battery and gave us more helpful information about checking the battery voltage. Old man, retail ain’t for you if you’re going to be arrogant and rude towards us and ruining our morning.

Need a gate battery. First went to Jaycar Darwin but they do not have it in stock. The staff checked system and found it in stock in Jaycar Palmerston. He called Jaycar Palmerston to hold the battery and got a positive confirmation. After driving 20 mins to Jaycar Palmerston, the staff who picked the phone and held the battery was off, the other staff in shop had absolutely no idea. I was told me it is out of stock, nothing was left in the holding cabinet, and they do not remember picking a phone. Terrible communication and coordination!

I went in for a router
Asked do they price match which I was told yes , showed 2 different stores that are cheaper , I was told to wait.. the guy went out the back and told me he rang the 2 stores and BOTH have nill stock.
So I rang the stores and BOTH Stores have them in stock.
Great customer service NOT!!!
lying does not bring customers back to this store.

The 2 staff on today around 12-2pm absolutely not retail/customers service oriented. Do not pay attention to customers, prioritise stock & walk away from customers walking to them or at the people at the counter left waiting! Overall not helpful at all...

I will never come in if those 2 are working. I will go to the darwin store or wait until during the week for the real staff!

To the other staff you guys are awesome & are usually on the ball with us customers. So this is not reflective of you guys. 🙂

Great range of products for electronic needs. Immediately had my item in stock and were friendly to show where it was in the store. Will certainly be buying more from here for my computer in the foreseeable future.

This store had 32" HD TV with DVD for use with caravans 12v advertised at $299, when attempting to pay the attendant identified that the reduction was for a similar tv not on display. I am sure the law states that if the store have incorrectly labelled the item, they have to honour the displayed reduction tion. The fact that even the sales person was unaware of the incorrect signing should indicates a misleading sign.

This store is a life saver!
The prices are great, the range is great and while some of the brands may seem less familiar then in other electronic stores they absolutely sell quality products. I find Jaycar items seem to last far longer.
Their staff are down to earth, welcoming and always helpful ?.
We got a wifi extender for half the price of the items other stores tried to sell us and it's amazing!!! From the house to the granny flat and everywhere in between is five bars!
Side note: they are great for good quality remote control cars. ?
