I have always had an exceptional experience at this store and the sales representatives are all very friendly and helpful. If I purchased a faulty product or if a product did not do what I thought it would do, they have always been very willing to offer replacements or suggest alternatives (within the warranty period). For example, I once purchased a microphone which wasn't as high quality as I expected (the specific brand was the issue and it was on the cheaper side). I returned it the next day and after I explained my experience to them, they immediately offered me the choice of a refund or to find a better microphone for me.

On another recent occasion, when I purchased a microphone and it was faulty a few months later, they immediately offered me a replacement. (Of course, the faults/issues were with the specific brands.) I think their willingness to smoothly assist in these cases is an important sales practice which I respect and appreciate.

I recently had an extremely positive experience with a sales representative who was Scottish (I don't know his name), and he was incredibly helpful and kind!

The store has a wide range of products (I have purchased headphones, microphones, USB cords, vacuum cleaners etc.) and also a price match guarantee, so if you find a product sold cheaper elsewhere, you can let them know and they will match the price (if the item is in their stock, of course).

I highly recommend this store and it is super conveniently located in Claremont Quarters along with a wide range of other stores!

Beware of misleading sales tactics at JB Hi-Fi!
I was promised a deal by JB Hi-Fi where I would pay $50 per month for a phone plan and $50 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with a $1100 voucher covering the cost. After returning to the store, I was misinformed multiple times by staff, including a sales manager about the terms of the deal. I was told that I’d have to pay an additional $939 halfway through the transfer process, which contradicted the initial offer. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive, and I never received a full breakdown of the costs, nor sighted a written contract. ILEGAL! I was misled into a contract I didn’t agree to, and my original plan with Optus was cancelled as a result. I’m now pursuing complaints with Telstra, ACCC, TIO, and other consumer protection agencies. Please be cautious when dealing with JB Hi-Fi, as their sales tactics can lead to unexpected costs and poor customer service.

I went to return some head phone because it had the wrong connection for my phone. They refused to give me a refund of only $8. I was disappointed but what is $8 compared to paying more for something is beneficial in the long run.

I realised I was wrong about buying these cheaper headphones. Paying a more for something is more beneficial. Because you know the quality will be better.
Yesterday at JB Hi Fi I had a salesman that gave me a good advice on certain headphones to buy to listen to music. It is really helpful to get a salesman to ask you about what is the best headphones when listening to music. They are so many different kinds out there to choose from. You just need to take your time and decide the right one for you. I was completely satisfied and grateful with the service I received from the salesman.

Ordered 2x TVs 2/dec/24 which arrived 25/feb/25 (nearly 3 months later)

When they arrived their delivery drivers refused to take one TV upstairs. (unlike the good guys).

2 strong guys just left the TV downstairs and now my partner and I have to struggle to get it upstairs.

I will not buy anything heavy from JB hi fi which needs to go upstairs again.
